Jozo and stupid mistakes

687

Success in football often comes down to who doesn’t make mistakes at the back.  For all France’s pace on the break, it was their sheer solidity at the back which saw them through the World Cup.  England reached the semi-final, with little more than a mid-table select, but they made remarkably few mistakes, and just as importantly, understood the importance of set-pieces – don’t give them away and exploit them when you get them.

Viewed through the prism of an educational World Cup, Jozo Simunovic’s chest-high Alashkert was worthy of a red card on the basis of sheer stupidity.  It was an intolerable mistake, a relic of a former era.

That Uefa doubled his suspension to two game is no surprise.  Perhaps they have a stupidity threshold.

    Brilliant :-)

I had never read that, I listen to SSB religiously (sorry Mags) I love the fact “our” media play the biggest part in their gloom …. I used to get frustrated with the media’s lies but these days I realise how important and advantageous their lies are ….

Any thoughts on the 6700 Celtic fans that might not get to see Celtic against the old/new huns…. I would have preferred the bored/board to highlight the damage that mobs following do when visiting Celtic Park in this day n age of social media highlight their actions …. same to those pesky Celtic fans who filled the Ibrox bogs with scented candles :-)

GFTB. Sorry had to take she who must be obeyed for shopping.

Of course I feel sorry for our fans not being able to follow the mighty Glasgow Celtic every game, but the authorities are letting a 6 year old club dictate and create whatever new rules they like and no one gives a feck…

So feck them, ban them from our dear green Paradise, and , hopefully other clubs would follow suit (although I doubt it)

Time to look after our own.

I don’t disagree but a bit gutted for the fans who want to back the bhoys especially in that shoite hole

The “other clubs” are the problem

I just don’t think Celtic should be blamed for sins of the tax evaders

You are talking about James Brown, never ran the Phil Cole’s Club, James Carr was that Bhoy. James Brown ran the Kirkshaws Kangaroos Club, left from the Royal before moving to the Clock Bar, he drinks in the Knights now.

  26. Prestonpans bhoy,

Thereis no way to get our fans in and out safely. The walk up Helen St to the park should be interesting as well.According to Glibby, this was the reason Police Scotland would never allow the The Free Broomloan to be used by Huns at these games.I would like to know what has changed.

They might be Police Scotland, but they do not want trouble.

  27. GERRYFAETHEBRIG on 29TH JULY 2018 12:55 PM

Firstly an apology, Cole’s did leave from the Royal before moving to the Woodside, where it still leaves from. It never left from the Clock Bar, that was Whifflet St. Mary’s.

James Brown ran the Kangaroos. Andy Gillick runs Coatbridge St. James’s, they stop off in Inverbervie.

    Turkeybhoy, got it reply shortly.

BigPacky, Cole’s was not opposite the Odeon, it was east of there, Langloan at the Cenotaph.

Imho Celtic should ask the police what security measures are in place before during and after our visit to the Victorian lavvy, and if they dont get satisfactory answers, tell the Zombies to stick their 800 tickets, I would also include a representative from the CSA at the meeting.
