  1. There's a storm coming....... on

TONTINE TIM on 19TH MARCH 2016 2:49 PM

Oh ye of little faith, how often did the centennial team win it in the last minute, against Rafael tae.

    *********

Ah, but the centenary team had a, bear at the back, a maestro in midfield, a hun-skelping-McAvennie up front, a fearless Lion in the dugout and, most important of all, a packed to the brim Jungle full of rebellious Tims who grabbed the team by the cojones and turned them into, eternal Legends who played for the Jersey’s in the Jungle.

Is there anything better than that ?

  4. setting free the bears for Res. 12 & Oscar Knox

Mine was up the minute he hit that belter.

  5. Match report is up, not got Geo’s pics yet but they’ll be particularly good.

That had a championship winning feel to in. Best ten minutes of the season – the goal and then what followed.

One very happy and noisey bus at the moment.

  6. Ayrshire huns soaked the worst astro park in Scotland for 4 hrs leading up to the game. Certainly slowed the ball up.

  7. Jungle Jim Hot Smoked on

Delighted with the three points. Didn`t see any of the game so read Page 11 to gauge the general reaction. Quite a decent mixture of positive, negative and neutral comments. Just as a blog should be.

Now let`s see how the Dandy Dons do against Nowell.

    Cheerio for now,

  9. **For ‘would therefore’ … Read ‘won’t be’ … Ha ha… I’m sure there’s a wee guy living in my phone that posts typos to make me look dfat!!

    Great great win today

  10. Tried to post a wee while ago,Mobutu keep getting told I am too quick! Anyone who has seen me knows that to be utter shite.

Anyway, the result is everything at this stage. The time for critical assessment has gone and will be postponed now until May.

Thankfully the players and Ronnie stood to applaud the fans, the support was great and deserved the winner even if our performance was shambolic. I use that word as, from 75 -85 minutes we looked more likely to lose the game. Post mortem over, thankfully we do not have to endure a fortnight of Ronnie out stuff all over the media. The MSM have a new target in WGS for the next 7 days.

Still waiting to post this….same “too quickly” message coming up again…

  11. A last minute saver goal against probably the worse team in the league. It is just not good enough and the numpty has the cheek to do his silly roar thing. We were lucky to get all three points. He is a rubbish manager full stop. Get Rid.

  12. TheOriginalSadiesBhoy on

    Mr Pastry

It may have escaped your notice that Sevco conceded a 2 goal lead last night and lost 3-2 whereas we won. Huns may be asking themselves what will happen when they meet Celtic. Scottish Champions and 4 points clear at the top. I’ll bet McInness wishes he was Ronny Deila.

  13. TOSB

Didn’t even know Sevco got gubbed last night until I got in the pub today.

No disrespect intended but it’s been a sad week for magic and a good week for the hoops.

Congratulations on your first ever post after a Celtic win

Sorry your day was ruined by Toms wonder strike

  15. They turned the tv to rugby with 5mins to go in Dublin(fair enough we are drinking in D4), so I missed the goal. Happy as Larry now.

    Come on Scotland!

  16. SFTB @ 2:55

My hands were by my side until the ball left his majestic boot from down under… I actually said he’d score the winner…

    And @ 2:58

    Nuff said.

The big Skippy was a one touch (shot ) Angel from Heaven .

  18. Go tell the Spartim on

An awful lot of posts talking bout imposters, referring to RD etc, like most sevconians and bedwetters they don’t do irony, definition of a supporter is an alien concept to the sunshine brigade.

Time for the review will be at the end of the season. Till then try a novel concept and get behind the team

I’m struggling to remember those days when we won every game by four goals and played like Brasil 1970’s World Cup team.

  19. Rogic’s ability to turn his man in a central position and create shooting space is exactly what we need with our turgid style.

If only to force defenders out of their normal comfort zone created by our ever so slow build up.

i know i keep banging on about Biton but he is a liability and a big reason for our stalled play.

    Does he create?

    Does he protect the defense?

    Is he positionally sound?

    Can he tackle?

    Does he make forward passes?

The answer to all of the above is no so why ick him

  20. To be fair on Neganon2 there’s no doubt about his supporting credentials.

Or his ability to moan. :-)

  21. Notthebus@3-11pm

Since you seem to know other peoples thoughts any chance you can give us an insight into Ronnies thought process with his brilliant tactics and strategy?

Thick old me is just not getting it.

  22. According to BBC stats they had more shots on target than we had. We had 10 shots at goal in 90 minutes. Therein lies our problem, apart from set-piece defending. Huge possession and only one shot every nine minutes is not good enough.

We only gave away five free kicks in 90 minutes. That is miniscule. Yet we had three yellow cards. They fouled 14 times – yet only one yellow, and that for dissent. KT was injured by a “hefty” tackle.

Here is a prodigious Scottish talent. Yet all mib allow open season on him by the hammer throwers. No protection at all. When will they learn? Why no uproar in the patriotic Smsm? Sean Fallon, God rest him, was able to handle the hard men. He just ran into them. Sean wasn’t big, but he was teak hard. Nobody came back for seconds.

We don’t have good and hard players. (Have we had any since Barry Robson?)

  23. Goals and moments like today is why I love Celtic.

If I got no enjoyment from today I would seriously have to re-evaluate my reasons for supporting the Bhoys.

    HH.

  24. HorridHenry/AlfieNoakes/Jimcon/Mr Pastry

    Sevco appear to worry you.

Why should a lower tier team worry you?

Why the association and mention of the vermin?

  25. We have a couple of week’s grace to find out how we can get more from MOTM Rogic, Christie, Allan and Roberts during the run in.

Commons, Brown and Bitton look staid, stale and unimaginative.

We have Hearts at home followed by Dundee and Motherwell away before the split.

Who do we use on the wide open spaces of Celtic Park against Hearts?

  26. GG

Let sentiment play no part in picking our teams for the run in.

Drop who is under performing, no matter who.

  27. Tricoloured Ribbon on 19th March 2016 2:08 pm

Celtic players ambling around totally uninterested. No movement,no drive and no ability.

Deila has to take full responsibility.Utterly shocking.

    ———–

Can’t be many jobs in the world where you get paid more than your boss yet if you turn up to work uninterested your boss gets the sack :o)

  28. If we persevere with 4-3-3 then we can’t play Brown and Bitton. Only one of them should play as sitter, probably Brown, and we need to play two from McGregor, Johansen, Rogic or Armstrong either side and supporting the attack. For Hearts game, McGregor and Johansen would be best suited as they will stand up more to the more ‘robust’ style of them.

    —————-

Plenty on here, including Paul67, were calling for the experienced players to be brought back in for the run in. 4 or 5 games later only Mulgrew (at a push) justifies their selection.

  30. Tough tough game today with Killie out to spoil and stifle and create nothing.

Got to say I reckon big Kazim would find it difficult to score in a brothel.

Brilliant strike got us the win, think it could be a massive turning point.

I worry that without LG we’d be deep in doo dah.
