Ki’s remarkable transfer to Swansea

625

Best wishes to Ki Sung-Yeng who joined Swansea City today.  The Korean international joined Celtic in January 2010 but the subsequent arrival of central midfielder Beram Kayal, Joe Ledley and Victor Wanyama, curtailed his first-team opportunites.

Ki possesses excellent technique and can cover 50 yards as quickly as anyone at Celtic but he often failed to impose himself on games.  Selling a reserve player with 15 months left on his contract for a fee of around £6m is truly remarkable.  I am one of the players many admirers but I don’t know anyone who would pay anything like that money for him.

We Oscar 4 Life’ have organised a bucket collection for Dundee home game at CP on 22nd of September and require a Lorry Load of Volunteer collectors. To volunteer as a bucket collected please email us at weeoscar4life@gmail.com.

  2. The more Levein leaves our players out of the national squad the more it will benefit the club. We have 4 competitions to participate in and our whole squad will be needed

Just so long as when Levein is under heavy pressure due to results (circa October) and tries to call them up, they tell him to Foxtrot Oscar

I’ll get back to you in more detail one of these nights. In brief, one major thrust of Lindsey’s interpretations was the continuing rise of Communism and the Soviet Union, and the diminishing influence of the US to be replaced by a much more powerful European confederation. He was confident that all of this would happen by ’85 (1985) – within a generation of the foundation of the state of Israel in 1948.

Quite honestly Levein will be on a shaky peg shortly when he gets 1 point from 6 in September.

Scotland will probably lose to the Serbs and will struggle to beat Macedonia.

When your best striker cannot get selected in Fletcher it isn’t just a Celtic thing – it’s a Levein thing.

The Ian Black thing was shocking and if Levein thinks these clowns will do anything.

Kayal’s ongoing fitness issues are a real concern. Will we ever see a sustained run in the team from him?

  17. Deja vu in the Highlands today.

May be sacriledge, but the result is of minimal importance.

It is all about getting home without another raft of injuries.

I can’t recall anything other than a dour, war of attrition up there, so, please, no histrionics today if Peter Lawwell fails to get a comprehensive victory.

    Stay safe, Celtic.

That’s me back after my ‘couple’ of beers. I actually had 3 – 2 Moretti’s (stop the sniggering there!), and a Corona (dont they sponsor our sister club Santos Laguna – better than that Tennents p***!).

Well, anyway – I hope to be over on those dates. Will know for certain later on today, hopefully.

    Keep you posted.

  19. Never seen a game of football in Inverness and the entire set up has a very negative effect on Celtic’s style.

I expect we’ll be chasing the game with some youngsters, and a draw is on the cards.

I wish we could buck the trend up there, play an unorthodox unexpected Celtic game, and bring the three points home.

Even the pitch is for Rugby? – mind you Ross County’s was like a bowling green by comparison.

The ‘computer’ that set the fixture list was devious.
