Ki possesses excellent technique and can cover 50 yards as quickly as anyone at Celtic but he often failed to impose himself on games. Selling a reserve player with 15 months left on his contract for a fee of around £6m is truly remarkable. I am one of the players many admirers but I don’t know anyone who would pay anything like that money for him.

Estadio – aye i remember very well. The arrogance around then was astounding. Wife was in Canada in August that year and Hun brother-in-law asked me up to watch the game in his local in Old Kilpatrick. I think he thought it would be a stroll. 50-50 split between Celtic and Hun supporters I was told (aye that was my chance of getting out alive). Needless to say but 6-2 and a lifelong ban from his local. Good day out! Treble year anaw. MON did spend a few shekels tho to get his team together, except Didier fae Hibs!

If it was a year ago my wee lad (Aidan) looked quite cute and it would definitely be better if he was 5 years old as he was incredibly cute and would definitely get a lot more cash into the bucket. The wee nugget won’t even tell me if he played well in his School trials.
And for those who may be limbering up in the antipodes or across the time zones……a final parting gift to keep you smiling till the game starts tomorrow.
I can’t remember who sent me these/published them, but I keep a hard copy in my wallet for use when I occasionally bump into the magnificent creator of these timeless gems or as we call them….Keevins-isms….
