Best wishes to Ki Sung-Yeng who joined Swansea City today. The Korean international joined Celtic in January 2010 but the subsequent arrival of central midfielder Beram Kayal, Joe Ledley and Victor Wanyama, curtailed his first-team opportunites.
Ki possesses excellent technique and can cover 50 yards as quickly as anyone at Celtic but he often failed to impose himself on games. Selling a reserve player with 15 months left on his contract for a fee of around £6m is truly remarkable. I am one of the players many admirers but I don’t know anyone who would pay anything like that money for him.
We Oscar 4 Life’ have organised a bucket collection for Dundee home game at CP on 22nd of September and require a Lorry Load of Volunteer collectors. To volunteer as a bucket collected please email us at weeoscar4life@gmail.com.

Right, another attempt. This post is being posted only in the hope that it will take me to the last page of posts.
Ah, worked. – Cheers Blantyretim.
Low tide? That something to so with soap powder??
So Ki’s gone.
I did state during the Olympics that if we had any ambitions in Europe we had to keep players like Ki.
That said I not too miffed about the transfer, we never got the best from him either in match play or goals from mid-field why I don’t know.*
What we do with the well orchestrated windfall after Wednesday will be the real test.
*This may sound like a criticism of Lenny it’s not, but we could not get the best from Ki playing in a position where our Manager kept Paul Lambert out of the team.
Just an observation like.

Half way up the A9 the fierce shinty rivals Newtomore v Kingussie will be battleing it out this afternoon. Now thats a real mans game.
I’ve no problems with IE9 and the blog – there may be issues with older versions it seems, so an upgrade might help.
Alasdair,
I had to dump Google Chrome because there were just soooooooooooo many problems coming through being picked up by my AVG protection. I access most stuff through Firefox – no problems at all for CQN.
BSR,
Devious, indeed.
It must be an eye opening experience for players outwith the local environment, when they experience the forces lined up against us, after they sign on.
However, this may a reason why so many of them commit so whole heartedly to the cause.
Good morning fellow Celts from warm grey Renfrewshire
Expecting out bhoys to have a tough game in the getting roughed up sense but don’t understand calls to leave out the youngsters this is exactly the type of game to blood them ( pun intentional) at one time players were farmed out to the juniors to toughen them up! good for Boaby, Kenny et al
Good enough for our lads.
The journey time to Inversneck is about 3 hours max in a decent coach with facilities etc. what’s the fuss hawed help us if we played darn sarf or France Spain etc.
Send them up In a bus and tell them to fight for 3 points
Rest our key players for Wed nights 15m + game

Forster; Lustig, Wilson, Mulgrew, Izaguirre; Matthews, Wanyama, F. Twardzik, McCourt; Hooper, Watt (LB)

So we’re back to the debate on whether it is a three at the back or a four. Looking forward to Twardzek in midfield, good chance for him. And Tony Watt up front too.
Paddy starting. That’ll be interesting.
big Sammi injured?
Watt for first goal, 2 nil, 25-1, get on it

Thanks. I’ll have to go get my iPod to read it. I can only open the most recent page with my lap-top by posting.
6 changes from Wednesday. Paddy and Watt get a start, as does Lustig & Twarzdik.

Interesting team!
Surprisingly going for a back three again?
I reckon Charlie will be in midfield and will be captain.

Same defence as Ross County except Wilson for Rogne

Whither the cash strapped scrofulous hillbillies the [scorchio!] day?
subs: Zaluska, Irvine, McGregor, Bangura, Forrest, Slane, Chalmers
Good luck to hoopslegend wee Davie Ki. I’m sure the squad needs trimmed but I don’t know if I’d have had Ki in the first cab off the rank.
Good team, but I thought Mulgrew and Hooper would have been rested…..
Be good to see our young Bhoys, I hope they impress.
Any tim news yet?

It doesn’t seem to be working for Internet Explorer. Google Chrome is working for me now. I saw someone Tweet Paul67 last night and he said he’d look into it so hopefully normal service will be resumed.

Is Sammy injured? Or being rested for next week?
Loving his look these days, half expecting him to turn up with the full ZZ Top.
Sammy’s hair’s still drying from the shower on Tuesday.
