From our best game of the season on Thursday to our worst one today . Referee , pitch , cluggers , sure but it’s not that we didn’t know what to expect.
Ach well , maybe the huns being top of the league with all the media adulation it brings , will focus and toughen us up a bit.

Like i said, one of those days, but, as most on here need someone to blame in order to sleep at night then blame Ryan Christie

No doubt the bedwetters will emerge on here with their end of day’s shit.
Looking at Sevco’s league fixtures, I think we’ll be looking up the table at them well into November
Fear & Loathing
Maybe the huns drop 3 points today. I am confident that they can drop points against anyone. All it takes is their key man (the referee) to have a day off & they’re done combined with a confident opposition. If we can be this bad then they can be brutal.
Look what their arrogance got them in mid week. Cant you predict the same level of arrogance after setting our result; dont you feel that already they are in the dressing room celebrating winning the league

The pitch at Livi is the great leveller. You can see the ball sticking at the players feet when trying to control or dribble. This forced our hand to play the long ball, missing out any creativity in midfield. This makes any result 50:50. Losing Ryan early immediately tipped the odds 60:40 in Livis favour. Coupled with our European exploits it was always an uphill battle

past two weeks should be a wake up for NFL..leagues are not won by only beating the Ibrox outfit…They will not (or be allowed to) loose games like our last two away games….
Our midfield with Brown Forrest and McGregor in it is now not good enough …James in particular has shown nothing in any of our away league games this season…
The Next Biggie is at Pittodrie where we will be without Ryan so hopefully we can have a fit Tom Rogic to replace him and Ntcham for Brown or Calum against Ross County..
Please sort it quickly Neil ….

Whether willie collum ever played football or not is immaterial.
He knows when a foul is committed he just chooses to ignore the fouls on Celtic players.
I can understand why Christie was sent off but I cant understand why Jacob’s was not for that tackle near the end.

hope thats out of our system now top of the league in may when it counts FTSFA and their hun refs class will shine through COYBIG

I’ve picked up quite a few things from cqn over the years; simple things like
– if you want to see how a new player does , look at just him for 45 mins and make your judgement
– look behind the obvious-: look at assists, winning headers, how someone else plays when a player is on the pitch and so on….
– the cqn defining exposure of the oldco liquidation .
Another is the state of play in spfl and the environment we have to play in! People predicted last year that the refereeing this year would be erratic. It is erratic this year to the point that celtic are reffed differently to other clubs. How the fugue did we win 9iar in the first place? Different standards were applied to celtic and livi today in very similar circumstances.

well well well ,happy clappers lets be hearing from you , livi wound us up and we fell for it hook line and sinker , RC deserved to go for his reckless tackle but i’ll tell you something we are to soft and meekly accept referring decisions, we need to grow a pair and stand up to them, every time we made a tackle you could hear the livi player screaming and rolling about to get the decision while we timidly accept wrong decisions when we should have a freekick, is boli boli the only player in scottish football that is told to take the shy from the spot where the ball allegedly went out and not take a step forward. no pass marks today and defensivly we were shocking , long throw-ins and high punts c’mon.
Nothing to do with the Ref Livingston Players ,at least give them praise for winning the match,Put nothing into them game, then you will get nothing,as for the Subs,Boli should have been kept on,Bitton should have replaced Ajer ,who again caused there first goal, Sinclair should have came on , instead of Hayes,as for Julien more interested in having a personal duel with Dykes,so for some to come on here ,and blame everyone for us getting beat,is just not on.

We can talk about midfield players scoring goals. But Celtic have always had 2 strikers

Failure. We have a CEO who has failed to use our income to improve. And last two weeks are a result We will fail to improve as long as PL is there
A glance at this seasons fixtures list announced in August, would have told you that
Sevco weren’t just coming, they were supposed to be here by now, and hadn’t Celtic re-written the script with an away win at Poundland, the plan would have been forensically accurate, with all points en board.
At least we get to know today, one of our away games after the split against Journeyman FC, and because my plastic is better than yours doesn’t mean its good, and reading the bounce Livingston have off, to a fine art, along with when and how to hit the carpet.
Mid-days don’t get much worser than detestable ex – Celtic players in the gantry commentating for Scotland, you’d think he’d have the grace to retire after paying off his mortgage with cynicism, and the wedge from SKY? after all these winning years.
If NFL rotated his side to suit every fan the season would be too short, but very few earned pass marks against Gary Holt’s ex army militaristic precision, which took two chances against Celtic’s reliable defence. Jullien and Brown were wound up like toy’s , by someone called Dykes all afternoon, but there was truly so little football played its easy to see how assisted Sevco got an undeserved 0-1 at the same venue.
My old friend told me in summer that a Neil Lennon Celtic would not be allowed to win the league under any circumstances, and that we should change the format. Any circumstances, now begin to unfold, and if Neil Lennon wins the SPL, with his fine squad, he’ll have done it along with his remarkable character and fight.

Very poor defending at both goals today . Both easily preventable. Haven’t seen them back yet to name names but we switched off at the first goal to let the Livi player run through and for the second goal we should have been aware of how the ball can bounce on that disgrace of a pitch.

I wonder if Collum even considered applying the laws of the game for that challenge on Hayes , given that there was only a minute to play?

When a Celtic player legally takes the ball down with his chest at the edge of the opposition box only for gollum to blow the whistle for handball, it kinda becomes clear what type of officialdom you are in for.

Early in the first half the ref gave Livi a foul just outside our box for handball against Julien . He was shielding the ball from a Livi player who pushed him in the back causing the bouncing ball to hit Juliens arm (which was by his side). That showed how the game would be reffed . Livi players barged into the back of Celtic players every time , Eddy was particulary targetted but it took Collum until the final ten minutes to penalise it . Every time the ball came into the Livi box Their defenders were up with a forearm on the back of a Celtic players neck but not once was it penalised.

Most frustrating thing today was our inability to defend well.
A team with more steel would have ensured we weren’t beaten today and seen out at least 0-0. Then you give yourself a chance of a sneaking a winner.
Ajer ran into trouble and gave the ball away for their first. The second was a hoof and a bounce.
Defend like that away from home and you get beaten.
Can Lenny not trust the squad enough to rotate post European matches? Freshen things up a bit?
