I think Christie lost his composure. He had been caught a few times on the ball and was clearly frustrated- lunging in needlessly having given away the ball. A lesson learnt hopefully.
Lenny will be under the spotlight now for next few weeks as will the players. Hoping for a Cluj like reaction.
It’s no mistake football now and Pittodrie already looks a massive game. If we drop points there, even the most laid back among us will be getting nervous.

Slight flaw in your argument – they would need to negotiate 4 qualification rounds before even getting a sniff of real CL money.
Being 2 points ahead after 8 games means hee haw. 2 points ahead when the final whistle blows on the last day of the season is what counts.

We are 8 games in and they have had 5 home games … it’s a long old season nothing won or lost in October
I felt at Hamilton that we were a bit too casual and that one or two were starting to believe their own publicity after the game at Ibrox. Our support got carried away after Ibrox too, something i was quick to play down. I even checked my own mother. Today we just did not start well at all, there was no real identify to the team and too many we’re not showing for the ball and losing 50/50 challenges. I was very anxious in the stand and commented that it had 0-0 or 1-0 them written all over it. The red card was a sickener and a real game changer. Ryan imo did little wrong, it was just something that happens in football from time to time I’m afraid. My mate had text me and said he met Bauer tonight and they had a wee chat in the west end. He was very frustrated about losing and also losing top spot. I have no reason not to believe we will bounce back, we always do and there are mitigating circumstances today as there were last week. Life moves on quickly and so does football. Today was a massive kick up the backside and must be used by Lenny as a stick to beat the players with going forward. I am confident we will recover and go again after the break.

Even if they win the league, yes it’s corrupt and the sfa, the referees will do everything in their remit to help them, like has been said they will have to negotiate four rounds UNSEEDED, we can’t qualify seeded, they will not be playing cl football next season, so by your reckoning they will be gone, they won’t be, they will still be spreading their sectarian bile and hate, get used to it.

Posted this a while back and it looks like I was right about the opposition team getting booked more than Sevco players.
The cheats in black miss important Sevco related incidents but they come out later and apologise but what’s the point the damage is done = Sevco gain advantage.
Sevco need goal difference up and they are the only team in Scotland for the past 2 years with the most penalties in the league.
When the opposition play against Sevco they are booked more often than Sevco players.
When Sevco is struggling the cheats in black always give them a helping hand and the opposition team suffer with more bookings and sending offs.
Sevco player brings down Livingston player and last man and not even a booking = Sevco gain an advantage and qualify for the next round of the cup.
Celtic struggle today and are denied two stone wall penalties and this is the difference when we’re not playing at our best and we are denied stonewall penalties but when Sevco are struggling the men in black always and I mean always oblige and give them a helping hand.
Ask yourself this question.
Would Sevco have been given those penalties today at Easter Road if they were struggling and needed a helping hand?
Anyone but Celtic.

Didn’t see 1min of today’s game as MissGFTBs receiving mass was today at 12pm… didn’t get out until nearly 1.30pm !!! And all the phones were getting turned on and 1-0 & down to 10 men soon got about …. again canny comment on the game, a bit shocked by the end result

Lenny has made a few mistakes, playing most of the Team for 80 minutes against Cluj was not the norm, to then play 10 out of the 11 from the start at Livi wisnae good, IMO.

Last Thursday Celtic played some excellent football on a grass park conducsive to good football.
On Sunday the same team (Bar one) played at Livingstone’s answer to the Maracana (give or take a vowel) on a plastic pitch not suitable for first class football. Years ago the powers that be decided that to play in the top league you must have an all seated stadium it’s about time they made a Grass park a stipulation. Not because of one result but because the standard of football would be better. Plastic pitches are great for lower divisions but not in the “Premier League”in Scotland.
Does anyone think that after watching that game on Sunday it was a great advert for Scottish football ? I don’t.
Well at least the defeat brought out the “10 pound Poms’ in their usual rant about Peter Lawell and Lenny should be no where near Celtic Park. Should keep them happy & posting during the international break.

Spoiled by a referee who allowed Livi to constantly foul/ break up play, with no yellow cards until about the 90 th minute.
Column is a disgrace.
Livi are a disgrace, kicking everything that moved, ball in the air constantly (I know played to their strengths, well that’s not football I’m afraid).

Some of our players yesterday were not interested in the physical stuff.
I wanted our strongest team possible on the park, but in hindsight our strongest team might not be our most physical… I think Lenny has to play horses for courses from now on.
Anyway we will still win the league FFS we are at the beginning of October, 2 and a bit months into season. I don’t remember trophy’s being handed out this early in any other season???

Listened (briefly) to Livi manager on Radio Scotland this morning. Almost blatantly boasting about kicking us off the park. Terrible mindset, only tolerated against us. Sad to say, he is not alone,; opposition managers know they can stick the boot in and get away with it. Shameful. It must baffle our new and/or foreign players.

I know these guys lead a rich privileged life but we do not “own” them and we do not have the entitlement to go up to their face and berate them just because they made a bad tackle or had a bad game.
Celtic should withdraw our Players from Scotland squads Citing the FACT that as SFA Membership Clubs are kicking lumps out of Celtic Players week in week out ( I accept that Ryans Red Card was merited yesterday), and that SFA Officials are turning a Blind Eye, and constantly being inconsistent ( the Lunge on Jonny Hayes by Livi’s Jacob), whenever Celtic Players are on the receiving end, Red cards for opposition Players are few and far between.
This very same SFA, who endorse the Corrupt Officials to foul and Injure Celtic Players…and some of those very same Players who are THEN expected to give their ALL…for an SFA Scottish Jersey ?
Celtic should just send in Doctors Sick Lines for the Celtic Players, and if the Celtic players are then BANNED from Playing for Celtic in the next game…maybe its time we took this situation to UEFA ?
Just in recent seasons think back to the constant assaults on KT, Ryan Christie, Broony….and also the assaults on other Celtic players like Jonny Hayes yesterday and last season, whereby SFA Refs are NOT taking the appropriate action…Red Cards !

I may be alone in my thinking, but I think Ryan was just completely frustrated by the state of that Plastic Pitch, when he and most other Celtic players were finding it nearly impossible to control the Ball on that surface, as before he committed the Foul, he was suffering like many other Celts from being able to play their natural game due that so called “Pitch”.
It must be very annoying for any TALENTED Players such as Ryan, when the Ball is not running true, and getting away from them, which can lead to late Tackles etc..out of sheer frustration.
