NegAnon2 – I get that we need a striker and I get that you posted one positive post about the teams performance tonight before reverting to type so that you could refer back to that one positive post for the happy clappers to read, but I think you’re picking the wrong fight tonight with TD67, he’s the other cheek to Kev Jungle’s arse…..
We do need a striker but that’s for tomorrow surely ? …Let’s enjoy the performance tonight, my only criticism is that we should have won with the team we had out….

Good Evening All.
Delighted to see a far more mature and disciplined performance tonight with the manager much more animated and clearly directing his players from the sidelines.
We are not there yet but we can qualify.
Re the signing of players, a couple of weeks ago Paul indicated in a leader that we have to sign better quality and take the team forward.
I agree with that wholeheartedly and if we qualify we are in a position to step up a division in terms of playing staff ….. possibly.
The reason I say possibly, is because I have been doing some reading and am astounded at the amount of money sloshing around England and the people who run and play for football clubs.
For example, Manchester City is owned by a trust fund and that fund earns $100 Million dollars per day just from its oil interests alone — and it has many other interests over and above oil!
$100 Million per day?
No wonder the English wages are mad.
However, far more importantly MacKenzie Furness started primary seven yesterday and her mum posted a photo on facebook.
She is looking and feeling good thanks be to God.
Now it is time to help my namesake so please get behind wee Shay.

Late night here in the sandpit but glad I stayed up to watch it. 1000 times better than Legia.
Really pleased tonight for Kayal. He was imperious, his best performance since his first season. I really hope he is back to the player who was being linked with EPL teams.
Izzy is not the answer at LB, away from home in the Champions League. How many times have we seen teams focus attacks down that side while he is charging forward. Weak link not due to ability but due to his attacking instincts. We need another option for away matches in the CL.
Charlie was excellent after his mare in Warsaw. I’ve heard the word quarterback used a few times and that’s apt. Or it would be if we had a big fast striker up front to act as a wide receiver. Surely we can find a Lukaku type somewhere?
What will transform this team, apart from a striker is a few of our super speedy wingers who will change the attacking style of the team. Berger and McGregor were both good tonight but I’m hopeful Tonev and Wasako will really transform the team with their pace.

In my opinion we will win the game comfortably next week providing we deny Filipovic in midfield access to the ball.mhe supplies the killer through balls for Maribor as he did tonight. Shut him down and we will seriously reduce their creativity. This looks like a job for Kayal.

That is shocking and not the club that i have grown up with. But nothing surprises me as our club has many of the darkside now employed, and who will be happy to try and destroy our culture and traditions.

hy not go all the way, and open a chapel inside Ibrox, Maybe have a club priest to bless us every game. Well we are half way there with McCoist backing the Vincent De Paul charity.

It’s a f&&king lie to suggest we welcome people of Irish nationalist thinking to this club.

A wee song to help all those feeling a bit low tonight.
This happy clapper/mineshafter dynamic is tedious in the extreme. I assume it is a blog concept as I have never heard it anywhere else in Celtic land. culprits on both sides should look at themselves and remember the person they are in disagreement with is a fellow supporter.
Reading comments from ‘both camps’ is frankly embarrassing as a tic supporter and a fellow adult.

Just Another Tim,
True, but why are you targetting this observation at someone who has debated his points fairly over the years, and not at those who will attack the support, and on occasion, players, at the drop of a hat, while committing their idiocy to a blanket defence of the board members, with abuse of anyone who disagrees.
I’m sure you don’t share their love of authority, so please don’t confuse your love of Celtic with these MSM-brain-score, authority-loving half-wits.

If Virgil is going to go and to an EPL team at that all this talk of 8 million should be laughrd out of the park. The fee should be a minimum of 12 million or we keep him simple as that.H.H.
