Mariners confirm Rogic deal

963

Tomas Rogic’s club, Central Coast Mariners, formally announced they had agreed terms to transfer the player to Celtic a few hours ago.  The Australian attacking midfielder, who turned 20 last month, will require a work permit before the transfer is concluded, but should be a formality.

After having an extensive look at the player, Neil Lennon will think there is an excellent chance he will be a successful addition to the team, but it’s worth remembering that Victor Wanyama joined at the beginning of last season at the same age as Tomas and took six months before securing a regular starting place in the team.
[calameo code=000390171cc0c3617c8cc lang=en page=80 hidelinks=1 width=100% height=500] I have avoided all YouTube clips of the player (which are notoriously misleading) but by all accounts he is an excellent prospect, however, he will need our support and encouragement as he settles into life in Scotland – especially if he acclimatises to the Scottish game.

I think you are correct on both scores, with the Season Book promo being the most important. I doubt much effort will go into investigating the touts and their sources. The biggest touts, after all, are Thomas Cook.

I don’t have an issue with Season Books being marketed through this route.

But as I understand it (forgive me if I’m wrong) ST holders DID get priority to buy their own tickets but then also got priority to buy extras for family and friends. I was a ST holder for years, but would never have expected to be given the change to buy ‘extras’ ahead of other fans.

It seems a strange way to allocate tickets … Has led to st holders selling tickets to glory hunters who dont attend or even punt them to highest bidder

If the powers that be didnt see that coming im a sevconian

  6. Attention any London Tims, yet to book travel for the home Juve game.

Having no chance of getting a match ticket, i have a return train ticket going.

Strictly Face value £70. Booked at time of draw, had 2 of the three match packages for the group stages. Thought this might of held some sway, but hey ho. Will have to settle for the pub…

  7. Just to be clear, Celtic’s official twitter has aked that supporters report any online touting to the club and stated that this was ripping off fans…

It seems many people are jamming Clyde’s phone lines to complain about the allocation of tickets for the Juve game.

Non- season ticket holders sounding genuinely outraged that they can’t get at ticket for the game. Get over it. If you really want a ticket buy a season ticket and its guaranteed.

If they want to pick and choose their games, all well and good, but don’t go on a phone in and blame Celtic for looking after the people that put their money up front

  9. Stevebhoy

Just to clarify … My request for a billion pounds was genuine so expect im getting reported

My ten pledges to sevco were genuine too btw ;)

  10. Anybody think PL should offer to book Glasgow’s second biggest stadium and do a ‘beam across’? Hampden could provide a good place to watch and join in with the sing song…

    Hail Hail!

  11. The Bhoy Jinky,

Ive got two tickets. Have you got two billion? That’s the big question;)

    Hail Hail!

  12. Billions of zombies turn up to watch sevco stagger and blooter about even though the state of play is utter gunge says nuetral murderwell supportin’ sevcovian (zombie plank).

When has sevco ever ever been about football? Their only reason for being is bigotry and violence.

    Nothing else.

This was posted about an hour ago and when I C&P I left your name out and for that I apologise, I have had a wee drink. Anyway, absolutely spot on I have never ever watched a really good hun team (sic) go out and play ball on the deck excellent football, ever. Can any CQNr’s point me to a game where they actually played entertaining football?

  13. Two billion what….piastres, reichsmarks? Pesetas?

If you accept any of those currencies, we’re talkin’.

  14. I do;t have a season ticket so I don’t deserve to see Celtic..

I therefore don’t deserve to speak about Celtic…

I therefore desist from posting on cqn about Celtic…

I can still talk my usual crap about nothing and everything apart from Celtic…

  15. Some tribute acts have been known to be every bit as bad as the original, and in sevco’s case this is absolutely true. Why, they’ve even got the same mgr. and he’s a 24 carat plum…..then,now,until they die….again.

Don’t post as much these days but thought I’d post a comment re Tom Rogic. I was on this morning around the time Summa of Samma posted two articles written about Rogic, I haven’t saw any clips from Youtube, or any written articles but what Summa posted this morning impressed me about the young lad, we may have found a gem, but only time will tell.

The usual hullaballo regarding people not getting tickets, If your a season ticket holder you are guaranteed one ticket, The only reason you wouldn’t get a ticket is, if you didn’t apply for one, or were late applying for one, another complaint was people getting six tickets, nonsense, anyone who came away from the ticket window with a handful of tickets would be a committee member of a supporters club who has written permission too uplift tickets for members of their club.

The ticket office needs to be supported at times. This problem comes up every couple of years, I believe that the S.T.Holders tickets have been ready for pick-up for a week, why wait until the last day.

If you didn’t manage to get your ticket, it wouldn’t have been the Ticket Offices fault.

I’m glad that we will have a full house for the Juventus game. The Board should be considering upgrading the Main Stand, with PL’s comment about ‘selling the tickets twice over’,The board should go for the upgrade.

  20. My brother’s got a sb…and he had every intention of sorting me put with a ticket, because he knows I’m Celtic through and through, just like him, (but I live 600 miles away and am not exactly minted) but he wasn’t ‘lucky’. Can that be right when all sorts of gouging sites all of a sudden have feckin’ loads of tickets?

To guarantee European tickets,…. Buy a season ticket.

For us living hundreds of miles away from CP, and unable to attend the vast majority of home games, that does not make financial sense.

I attend around 5 league games a season plus European games but have no advantage for these super games.

You are wrong I’m afraid about bulk buying of tickets. You could get 6 tickets today with your own season book and 2 other customer reference numbers. Easy to obtain the latter via mobile phone.

  23. I saw the Australian Pink Floyd about 16 years ago in the Arches and they were excellent.

I saw Pink Flloyd about 21 years ago at the brand new Docklands Arena in London and I must say they were both excellent.

    Both hun teams are gash.
