Tomas Rogic’s club, Central Coast Mariners, formally announced they had agreed terms to transfer the player to Celtic a few hours ago. The Australian attacking midfielder, who turned 20 last month, will require a work permit before the transfer is concluded, but should be a formality.
After having an extensive look at the player, Neil Lennon will think there is an excellent chance he will be a successful addition to the team, but it’s worth remembering that Victor Wanyama joined at the beginning of last season at the same age as Tomas and took six months before securing a regular starting place in the team.

I have avoided all YouTube clips of the player (which are notoriously misleading) but by all accounts he is an excellent prospect, however, he will need our support and encouragement as he settles into life in Scotland – especially if he acclimatises to the Scottish game.

RANGERS Fans Fighting Fund announce tonight that they will be underwriting costs incurred in the battle to protect the club’s 54 titles.
The Fund are fully committed to defending Rangers’ history, which includes all honours.
Rangers fans have already paid in more than half a million pounds to the Fund and after tonight’s meeting a spokesman said: ‘It is absolutely crucial that Rangers’ titles remain untouched.
‘But because there has been a long-running campaign in the media and within certain other clubs to punish Rangers we must do everything within our power to protect the club’s proud history.
’Every fair-minded person knows where these titles belong and we will not sit back and allow anyone to have them removed.’

i think celtics plan was to allow season ticket holders to buy extra ones then any left over after that went to those who bought the three match package. i reckon they got that the wrong way round.
also, i wonder how many people who bought 2 tickets today dont have 2 people 100% lined up to buy them and just bought them anyway.

There was a public order issue here. No matter how well natured our fans are, if you’ve been in a queue for a while and some guy breezes past to his mate tempers flare.
The club are in complete no win situation with these high demand matches.
At least this way every ticket is allocated to a SB number, or a known party and they can be sources to any tout or agency charging over the odds, and the original recipient black-balled.

The big car park around the stadium fill up early with punters without tickets.
Drop the tailgate down on their cars / jeeps … Get the portable tv or radio on.. Fire up the portable grill .. crack open a beer … And party
Seven years ago, A Celtic supporters club was set up in St Albans. Close enough for me to go in and watch the game with fellow Tims. It was a great club with our peak having a former chairman as our honourary chairman.
One of the things we did was to set up a 5 a side team. St Albans Celtic were born.
As happens with these things the club has whittled down to a just a few of us but St Albans Celtic have plugged away, done really well with a few runners up medals.
Tonight, after 7 years of trying St Albans Celtic won the league!
Just wanted to let you all be the first to know that Celtic are the champions 2013!!
