McGeouch suffers in friendly test

824

Friendly games are all about building match sharpness while hopefully avoiding injury.  Celtic were given an excellent opportunity to shape up against Real Madrid last night but a suspected broken jaw to Dylan McGeouch who was knocked unconscious will set the player back several weeks.

Henrik Larsson spectacularly returned to action after a double jaw break after three weeks in 2003, scoring with a header within minutes although he walked off the field after his injury without additional complications.  We wish Dylan a speedy recovery and hope to see him in Champions League action next month.

Just logged on and don’t have time to read back at the moment. Can only stay on for a wee while as I need to get to Mass but want to say, get well soon Dylan. He was having a really good game yesterday. Also want to ask, is anyone having a difficulty buying Helsingborgs (home) ticket on-line or is it just me?

Probably it is just a rumour, but I would like to see us strengthen in defence.

I’ll be having a look at the D-Day beaches although I hear they just look like, well, beaches.

Are there any museums specially worth visiting?

    Any monuments or ruins?

Other question is – I’d heard seeing the tide come in at Mont st Michel is pretty cool. Anybody ever see that?

The whole routine between Tanner and McCann was clearly rehearsed before they went on air,,,absolute nonsense to suggest that the History has been bought by Green!!!

Drive’s me nuts this crap,,not one person in the MSM has challenged this belief that Sevco and Ra**ers are one and the same, when they clearly are not?

I was his dad’s boss for a while. The lad was desperate to sign for Celtic, think Tommy Burns was in charge then. I could never have done what he has no matter how much money was on offer.

At least his childhood schooling allows him to be understood on air. You can’t say that about many of THEM.

Several places have museums, Arramanche is possibly the best to go to, there are two worth seeing.

There is German graveyard, built in circle with small rooms containing plaques with the names of those who died. Chilling, haunting place but worth going to see.

Mont St Michael is a must, an incredible place but it’s exceptionally busy at this time of year.
