Cheers for that. I will be having some of that. If successful I can buy some Viagra. For my impotence Mickbhoy88.

“Smith’s EBTs. He had two”
Aye. He will certainly have a lot of explaining to do when Hector rings his doorbell.

“He, more than any other, caused their downfall and obliteration.
“They still had a chance, if they cut their cloth, as recently as 2010, to get out of it, but his “air of protestant supremacy” wouldn’t allow him to play second fiddle to Celtic.”
To be fair, I think it had more to do with his limitations as a manager than any ideology. At Everton he spent his three-year budget in his first five months in the job and then spent the rest of his time at Goodison Park complaining about having no money to spend. Smith was one of the original chequebook managers.
“So, thanks Walter, the man who killed the Huns”
You are right though, he deserves credit for playing a major part in the demise of the Huns.

You’ve just ensured that there’s strong competition for the CQN Grump of the year title.
C’mon lads! The bar’s been raised. Youse’ll have to find something even more petty to moan about.
Mickbhoy just did a triple salchow of impotency, friendlessness and missing an opportunity for a spot of condemnation.
There must be a few CQN Albert Tatlocks willing to man up to his challenge.
Algarvian.
Too true…
Murray planted the seeds of self destruction.
Smith pushed them over the edge.
Green and Whyte will take the flak though.

What was the inaccurate reporting …?
——————————————————————————————–
That The Rankers had won 33 scottish cups
Auldheid
The Share Purchase Agreement between Murray and Whyte confrimed that the initial tax assessments on the scheme were received by Rangers in the period February to April 2008.
The following year they received another assessment (presumably for the prior year) in March 2009, and again in March 2010.
My reading of it is that Rangers continued to use the EBT scheme following the first determinations in Feb-April 2008 for the precedung 8 years, and thus the 2009 and 2010 assessments were for the previous year’s contribution.
Taking a fag packet and a blunt pencil to it, 85% of the total value of the EBT bill was received in the determinations Feb-April 2008 calcualted against contributions of £41M in the previous years, from a total of £46.7M to 2010.
A Penalty notice was received in September 2009, coincident with the appointment of Alistair Johnston as Chairman.
Miller, Velicka, Lafferty, Bougherra, Mendes, Edu and Davis were all signed in the summer of 2008 for a value (source soccerbase) of £17 Million, a short number of months after the first tax determinations totaling around £20 Million were received.
If any of these players were indeed on EBT enhancing deals, the stupidity is confounding.
Thanks to Mark Daly (and RTC by extension) we now know that Davis received £600,000 in EBT benefits, while Mendes enjoyed a whipping £1 Million. Both had side letters.
See http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-18148818
By summer 2010, with all Tax demands received, appeals against the initial £36M tax and interest lodged and due heard October, David Murray’s business utterly ruined, no sight of a buyer after Andrew Ellis had shuffled off, and Lloyds supervising the business, the Board decided it was a good idea to spend £4M on Jelavic.
My vocabulary is insufficient to find the words to describe the behaviour of these people.
Auldheid.
I am suspicious of anything this government do following their readiness to “even up” the disparity in sectarian offences with their offensive conduct at football matches legislation. That and the fact that they shredded ten years worth of statistical evidence that proved RCs were far more likely to be victims of sectarian offences.
I believe that Michael Rosie was involved with Steve Bruce? in compiling a report on sectarianism in Scotland that basically said: nothing to see here move along now!
When his appointment was announced Gerry Braiden in the Herald said “Michael Rosie, a sceptic on sectarianism being a major issue in Scots society, whose role will be to challenge evidence.” Braiden didn’t explain the role of the other panel members and who would be putting the other side of the argument if the panel had a sort of adversarial constitution, which I doubt.
I favour the idea of a Scandinavian academic to look at this issue with a truly fresh perspective.
This government cannot bear to consider the fact that anti-Irish racism and anti-RC bigotry are rife. In my humble opinion of course.

Mickbhoy1888 is a very angry individual. I think he may be going bald.
Jaysus mickbhoy, the years will pass pal and you will be middle aged as well. I’m 64 plenty of people to talk to, still potent thanks be to God, people who know me think I’m a bit of a bam pot, and more importantly I’m a Celtic fan since my late Dad sat me down when I was 7 or 8 and started telling me what the Club was all about. We have always said no discrimination on race, colour or creed, we will have to add age to that list if you come out with anymore specials like your 11.55 one.
Ian Black’s comments re tough tackling opponents in Div 3 are hilarious, however his other comment that the SPL is easier because you have more time on the ball that you do not know what do with the ball … is embarassing beyond belief.
Expect them to win today, rabble rousing stuff with a compliant ref will tip the balance … still it is not just CG that talks tripe

‘All my friends have gone and my hair is grey.
I ache in the places where I used to play.’
So 10/10 for impotence and nobody to talk to. But I’m definitely elderly and not middle aged. You too will be some day.
I’ve not seen much condemnation of the shooting of the prison officer either. But then I’ve not seen much comment on the effects of Internet porn on school pupils nor indeed on a whole host of other issues. Feel free to post these condemnations yourself. I, for one, am likely to agree with you.
Enjoy Tannadice. I hope your team wins.
Aint it funny that the huns see some as untouchable. Smith is one of them as is Mccoist although he’s surely got to be slack stuff.
And yet I remember 1983 when huns great John Greig had stones thrown at his office window by protesting fans (evening times) before getting bulleted.
Then theres le guen who got twenty odd games, Davie White bumped while top of the league, and Scott Symon chased after 10 trophies but one awful result (Berwick).
The last three all better managers than those who get the easy ride.
Why is that?
I see the all seeing brown eye has reappeared. Taxi must be Gubbed again!

Do you think any investigations into individuals who had EBTs will be put out in the public domain or will they be carried out privately?

When the FTT eventually officially reports – even with redacted names – where will that leave Campbell Ogilvie?
Even if you ignore the questions of what he did or didn’t know (and obviously we shouldn’t ignore these) – are we about to have the ignominy of the SFA president being chased in the courts by Hector for either £40K (tax due = best case for him) or £95k ( repayment of “loan”)?
Maybe he could suggest a compromise deal and just offer Hector a good night out in Glasgow?
Cowardly clugger Ian Black greetin’ about not getting enough protection from referees in the 3rd division. Boo Hoo!
He like all the other sevconians has no sense of irony shame or embarrassment.
Karma is a beeatch!
Don`t bother reading the scottish press , but i`ll guess the Alloa
game is their lead story. The big football story is that Aberdeen,
Hibs and St Johnstone can all leapfrog Celtic and go top of
the SPL.

I think Ian Black needs some of mickeyboys Viagra to stiffen himself up!! his comments today seemed rather flacid for a so called hardman;))
So Van Persie scores, what were the odds on him scoring first?

Agree, apart from the league being competitive, it flies in
the face of their armageddon guff
When I read Black’s comments about how tough life was in the FOURTH tier (ffs!!!), I almost choked on my sainted auntie’s delicious – and award winning – homemade minestrone!
When I was over a couple of weeks ago a demented sevconian tried to convince me that Black was their ‘Davie Hay’!! I proceeded to spray him with the contents contained in my mooth – about a half pint of Extra Cold Guiness – roll about the floor in fits of hysterics and, when I got up, smack him on the back of the head and told him to ‘get up the road’!
Hunbelievable!
HH!!
EKBhoy/Green Lantern
I read that earlier, laughed initially but it is a totally transparent attempt to influence referees, it’s all there. The mention of poor standards; demand for what The Rangers need; and of course a threat of demotion if the referees don’t comply.
It will work though, decisions will be given. Alexander tried it a few weeks back and it emphasises just how desperate they are.
The article in the at least two newspapers were almost identical too.
I am only 29 and I resent Mickybhoy1888s comments.
