In central defence:
Julien does not inspire as much confidence in me as he does in many others and Ajer — who I think could become top class– gives away too many needless fouls for my liking.
In central midfield:
I would say mainly to allow Calmac and Broonie some rest time in `easier` Home games.

Yes, it was Jozo.
He was banned for first 2 games of SPFL campaign because of it.

I like Nir but he’d slow down our midfield. Hated when he and Brown played there.
In Central Defence his style is great until put under pressure.
All going to plan though … they win the pre-season, get over-confident, and makes the Celtic management avoid complacency.

Agree, re. Bitton. In defence he cant tackle or win the ball in the air. In midfield wants too many touches on the ball and caught in possession too often . Pool player at best

huns fairly confident in defence. in saying that, a poor lyon could have scored 2 in the last 3 mins
Nir Bitton anaysis by Big Wavy and St Tams:
Slows down our midfield;
Poor under pressure;
Cannot tackle;
Cannot win a ball in the air;
Needs too many touches;
Gets caught in possession too often.
It `s a complment to your generosity of spirit that , in spite of the above, one of you still likes him and the other sees him as a possible pool player ( did you mean the game played with cues? ) :-))
Incidentally, all of the above was typed with a smile on my face.
As I said earlier, I am a fan of Nir`s but I can understand why some would not see him in the same light as I do.

NIR has played in many a winning team against the Huns.
10 man Sevco comfortably defeat Lyon, with Barker and Jones far faster than Denayer and other defenders. They break from defense really quickly. Jones missed an open goal from 8 yards that would have made it 3-0. We cannot afford to be complacent about this mob this season.
