Roy Keane is due at a press conference in Dublin this afternoon and he is sure to be asked about Daily Mail reports this afternoon that he is set to be appointed Celtic manager as early as tomorrow.
It’s pretty clear Celtic have spoken to Keane but NO ONE HAS THE JOB YET, the Club are still speaking to a number of candidates.
We’re going to remain hostages to news reports for a while. The sooner things are sorted the better.

Patna and Dalmelington – Sodom and Gomorrah.
Won a sunday league cup in Dalmellingto one year v Patna at the junior ground.
The sleekit local Patna bookie had been open in the monring taking bets on the game – pinned us at 3/1.
We got word, a sweep in the dressing room sent one of the kit lads in a car to Patna, slapped on a ton on us and we scraped a win.
The bookie turned up to watch the game, saw our lad, realised the source of the bet, screamed at us the whole second half – once word got about the park who he was the hilarity ensued when we went 2-1 up. He was red and burstin’, lulz.
One of our more ‘concrete’ fellas subbed with 5 to go and stood by him until full time. Quite an ordeal among a couple of hundred surly locals and one token polis for crowd control. He missed the cup presentation and his medal as he huckled the bookie to his car where he paid up in cash after a word or two.
The opposition boys and some locals heard of it, seemed a might miffed that we’d played straight and not collaborated to let them chcuck the game and clean the bookie out. Lot of them lost a few bucks backing themselves.
No time for celebration for us – into cars with kit still on and down the road with stones and the odd boot aimed at the cars as we left them bublbing under.

Davie Moyes has won hee-haw. He is a football loser. No thanks. He also refers to himself in the third person which ensures that he cannot surely be a candidate.
Malky Mackay doesn’t get my juices flowing(not that they should flow though) but Keane does moisten up places which shouldn’t be moistened, this is because of his charisma and personality. The man is dynamite. Just like George Galloway used to be.
