    a) The Board do things with which I disagree. I don`t know what their intention is in so doing.

    b) The fans accept `information` from the MSSM which are not true and are intended to undermine Celtic.

As regards a), you can be sure the MSSM will gleefully cover that `story`.

As regards b), our Club already attracts largely negative reporting. Why should we add t that?

I post as i do because the media do not report positively on Celtic. I try to restore some balance.

You post negatively. As that aspect is already widespread in Scotland, what is your purpose in so posting?

  2. Sevco might get a bye into Europa league proper as Russians don’t have permits .

Ffs you could not make that up

    D. :)

  3. BCW the problem with striking a balance when one deosnt exist is that you are likely to topple over. This isn’t a balanced equation.

Hot smoked you too are trying to strike a balance when there isn’t one. You cannot balance out Scotland’s racism by attacking your own supporters. It’s utterly perverse. Better you focus your ire at the board who had a chance to do something about the racism but chose not to and stymied supporters attempts to do so.

The media hate us because they are racist. They represent Scotland. But when Celtic screw up we shouldn’t be any to criticise them just because we know the media will be salivating.

Perhaps you should turn your attention to paul67 who declares this site as an antidote to the media and then promptly uses it to peddle propaganda.

Jeffrey Bruma, if he’s over his injury problems

What injury problems? We don’t need another Compper.

I would expect the Russian’s Visa to be fast tracked , or this could be deemed to be political interference by the Uk government, which could have dire consequences for all UK football teams.

Be interesting to see Brophy today. Looked good any time I’ve seen him. Fancy a shock today.

  7. I Think looking at our two young central defenders , we will get caught out with them , sad to say , I feel they are not quite ready . Was pleased with the performance of gamboa and Emilio , but again they both are a bit on the small side . At free kicks and corners ,big lafferty types will pick them off . So sad to see us in this state at the moment , the door has been opened for the scousers team by lack investment by whoever ,imho some gamble to take , one that may allow them the chance of dining at the top table , why do we always let them up .

What was that you were saying about the SMSM?

“Spurs eye Tierney: Gerrard wants squad boost” (STV)

Nice for the BBC to know they’re not ploughing a lone furrow.

  10. Ironically ger57 to provide some balance to Paul 67 being an outrider for the board, to point out his tickets for articles hypocracy and to stop you all convincing yourselves that its all the supporters fault.

TAL – if they do get Visas, maybe the GB Lhads can supply their supporters with one of our old banners.

Looks like a serious knee injury for Jamie Murphy. Disgrace that these surfaces are allowed.

    Brophy playing well!

Or, for those of the mineshafter persuasion, he might well turn out to be a bumar.:)

  14. One ball over the top, terrible defending, and scuffed Morelos strike trickles by the goalkeeper who looks awful. Tie over.

  15. Would we as a support accept Dedryck back into the 1st team , albeit grudgingly, if his presence were to prove pivotal in Celtic reaching the EL group stages? Would we prefer instead signing John Terry on a short term deal to cover our defensive woes despite him being an absolutely reprehensible character or wouldn’t that count against him as he is an alleged Celtic supporter?

Me I’d begrudgingly allow Boyata back into the squad for the game against FC Suduva and then hopefully sell him. But with our options to replace Dedryck and really strengthen our defense this window diminishes with each passing day it looks as if he will be with us until the January window. Perhaps that is what Brendan is preparing us for? No other singings this window!! Who knows hopefully I am very wrong otherwise it is going to be a long few months between the end of August and January 2019.

Indeed. SInce we have problems stopping crosses being made and are not physically strong at CB there may be trouble ahead.

All good teams need a strong spine and as matters stand, especially if our front two strong men are not available we are weaker than they are.

This is what happens when a players financial value takes precedence over what is needed in Scottish football terms.

Next level my arse. We need to win the right to play there first.

  17. My friends in Celtic

While happy with the win ; A few points from yesterday .

Never seen BR so candid about our performance. Post match interview.

Following Levins comments from last season , it seems to be open season on Scott Brown. I can’t understand the lack of comradeship from our players. That thugs card should have been marked.

I think many of our “fans” got mixed up in their destination yesterday. The republican march was down high street, not Maryhill. Same time mind you. Google maps.com.

  18. The 2nd of september is a chance for us to stop the ‘Stevie G’ bandwagon….i fear a defeat as we all do in these games but ONLY if we play the way we have so far this season..i still believe in Brendan however….

  19. Haven’t seen much of Sevco. Haven’t been watching today but what I’ve seen so far is a defensive team set up to move the ball quickly to front players without much nuance or cohesion.

Knocking out Maribor and making a tricky tie to rugby park comfortable would indicate they will gain more points than last season. We remain a level or two above them but the complacency evident in so many league games last season had not raise its head again or we will be in a title race.

Got a sneaky feeling it will be the Sevs v Celtic … a wee money spinner for them and with Hunny Gees mob flying and Celtic by most accounts (not mine) in disarray… they will celebrate that draw (again :-)

  21. Didn’t watch the Sevco game today. Question for those that did. How well do you think our central defence (any combination of current squad players)will cope with the rejuvenated zombie FC? Curious to gauge others opinions. I watched the recent Aberdeen V Sevco game and thought both teams were rank rotten and didn’t see much that would overly concern me although our propensity to gift other teams easy goals thus far this season does leave a nagging doubt that we may have a bit of a fight on our hands in the SPFL.
