Most Celtic fans would agree that we are weaker than last season but there is a denial among many that Sevco are stronger. Strengthening our key weaknesses in the remainder of the window is vital IMO.
Stay top in Scotland and worry about Europe later.

On the subject of their defence and our defence I think it’s hard to judge but one thing for sure their defence gets more protection from the players in front of them in my opinion

any celtic fan who cant see an improvment in them then they are deluded….apathy has set into our play…they will sign another couple of players yet so its a big two weeks for us in the transfer market…we need to spend very wisely….

Banda, my thoughts to regards O’Donnell . Was impressed with him too when they played us . No nonsense defender .
Gerry – correct. A lot of it is about shape. Our system requires faster, stronger, more experienced centre backs than we currently have. Put any of our CHs in a team which plays a more compact defensive shape they’d look like players we would love to sign!
I’ve been saying it for years that defences get more criticism and sometimes more praise than they deserve – their successes and failures often begin in midfield.

He was highly regarded when in our youth set up, unfortunately injuries halted his progress and he went to Thistle then down south.

Without starting the McGinn debate again , we could really do with a battle hardened midfielder to help broonie , he is getting singled out now , gone are the days broonie would leave his card on the hammer throwers . The cowards who kept out his road a few seasons ago , are now lining up to have a go at him .

It annoys me a tad when people compare our central defenders to other central defences who are not left as exposed as ours
Would love a centre half like big Mick McCarthy or Bobo Balde who would defend their goal with their life :-)
But am pretty sure BR wouldn’t have a centre half like that anywhere near one of his teams
As for Morelos… he plays against the same defences as our strikers and the boy knows where the onion bag is (apart fae against us .. so far :-)

It gladdens my day when the Huns are singing Andy Halliday it means he is still there :-)
2012 the Sevs were formed just read about the Rangers circa 2012
“The club was known as Posta Rangers Football Club from its establishment until the end of the 2011 season, from when it was known as Rangers Football Club until the end of the 2012 season, after which it was renamed Rangers Football Club”
Pure kwality , also loved the Sevs singing SuperAlly as well, this guy has taken them for a fortune and his penny shares are still worth a couple of bob or two :-)
Hendry and Ajer have played against Morelos before. They’ll know what to expect from him. He can be a handful and get’s into goal scoring positions. I think Sevco should be worrying more about keeping our attackers out. Dembele, Edouard, Rogic, McGregor, Sinclair and Griffiths have great records against them. So long as Halliday plays for them you know they are going to have problems. What I love about Andy is that, if he goes for a couple of games without mishap, he then start to strut about the pitch thinking he’s a class player.

I sort of want them to make the group stages (only if we blinking do) I think it might work in our favour and spur our fans and players on if that mob are playing the same night, whether some like it or not the massses want to go head to head with whatever form of the Hun that exsists
By the way Sevco “progress” in the cup and Celtic avoid defeat
Both scores 1-3 :-)

For several seasons I have been posting about us buying players that have been blighted by injury.
It would appear Bruma is now in the same predicament.
Like Commper he has played very few matches in the last year.
I pray that we are not about to sign yet another perennially injured player.

Sevco just faced the most difficult tie of the round.
Soundly beating a Killie side away from home on an artificial pitch.
A Killie side that we were unable to beat 3 times last season.
We must face up to the fact that Sevco have greatly improved over last season and we as yet are weaker.

They love their establishments :-)
This guy Siddiq makes big Amido look world class.
Kellie missing Mulumbu. He would have made a difference if he’d still been with them. I don’t think they’ll do quite so well this season.
Just watched the hun clearly better than last season, if the title
is our main target we should want the hun to make the group
stages of the Europa, unless the sign other 4 or 5 they won’t
cope, some of their first picks look battle weary already.
