My concern is we are on a downward trajectory and some fans and more concerning the club can’t see it
I consider the bleating about Celtic’s defenders recently, from Celts, to be pathetic.
Our troubles last year were we’d little to show from the many combinations playing 9 and 10. Today three goals. That’s what I call a Celtic team!

I loved watching the first three and can assure you they are three players who have definitely entertained me but sometimes what you have isn’t appreciated until you don’t have them and for all the badge kissing & entertainment I think Sinky, Calmac & wee Jamesy have delivered far more in the Hoops :-)

A useless bit of information Patrick Thistle were a Coatbrig Saturday morning team whose main rivals were Columba (club) AFC both teams predominantly Celtic fans … I done a rubbish Mo Johnston leaving the Columba club to Patrick (whose Celtic supporting players hated me) then rejoining Columba AFC ….
So Patrick Thistle might not have been playing Celtic today but they did exist and if “Big Shuggy” is lurking am pretty sure he would comment on my traitorness but welcomed me back with open arms :-)

John McGinn must have had his reasons for signing for Aston Villa. Like you, I don’t know what they are, but they were obviously good enough for a Celtic supporter like him to make the deicison he made.

Great result yesterday, back to winning ways after a tough week or so.
Positives: Gamboa , Izzy, Ajer, Moussa, Johnstone,, Big Tom showing some quick feet again, I could watch the big Australian all day, his footballing skills never cease to amaze, The Griff getting a goal will give him some confidence.
Negatives: we need to manage Jack Hendry’s game time from the bench, I don’t think we are being fair on the lad, great prospect though.
Not the best performance all round, but it’s a win.

Attended game yesterday together with No.2 daughter thanks to Hamilton Tim and thoroughly enjoyed my first away game,other than Kilmarnock which we NEVERmiss as it’s the only one we get tickets for.
Met Bhoys from Newcastle who never miss a game and got parked and pubbed 400 yards from park!

THE HUDDLE, sorry for late reply, you asked me to define decent, someone better than Jack Hendry would be a decent start, anyway personally don’t think we will sign anyone, as better posters than me have said we will get the ol tried to get blah blah in but couldn’t get It over the line try again January, summer, January!
I don’t really consider Jack hendr y to be a young player. KT, Ajer , Mikey are young players.g players.
Jack is 23. This time last year, Jozo was 23. Not too many people said he was going . Indeed, he was considered a key man at the same age. I
I think Jack needs a bit more awareness of what is happening around him. Hopefully good coaching can help but I do wonder who is responsible for coaching defence.

As you know, the first day back is the worst. Your brain has to get out of holiday mode and back to work. My own personal hate was always the Sunday night. Mind you, I got that most Sundays! Just look forward to your next holidums. By Wednesday you will be fine and looking forward to us humping thems.
Garygillespie, I didn’t even know that JH was 23, I thought he was a bit younger. I still think we need to manage his game time from the bench. Although I have always had the mantra of if he is good enough get him in. His mistakes in my eyes come down to positional sense and awareness of what’s happening around him and when to release the ball, he is tall, quick and strong and not to bad on the ball. So there is signs of a player in there.
