Populist instigators without a plan

739

Loved the statement issued by the ‘3 Bears’ last night.  They protest that their offer to Rangers International was superior to the offer from Sports Direct, which was accepted.  What the sharp-eyed PR wizard didn’t figure when delivering the statement, though, is:

The board need 75% shareholder permission to dis-apply shareholder pre-emptive rights and create sufficient shares to allow the 3 Bears to fund their proposed share issue.

Support of the Easdale proxy block is needed to pass this dis-application.

Knowing they needed Easdale support, when the board asked if they would drop the EGM resolution to remove James Easdale from the board in order to make their proposal viable, the 3 Bears declined.

Consider the conversation:

A. “We’ll fund a share issue.”

B. “That needs Jimmy’s agreement.  Will you drop your plans to sack him?”

A. “No.  We’re still going to sack him.”

B. “Can’t do, Jimmy’s not going to vote for that.”

A. “It’s all your fault for not accepting our perfectly well thought-out proposal.”

It’s astonishing how shoddy an operation these clowns have.  I know no one in the media will explain the reality to fans, nor will they believe anything they read here.  When populist instigators for change have no viable plan, a club is deader than Rangers (mark I).

Listen darling I was at Dundee that Boxing Day, sober having only left Glasgow at 1730,and far from being a riot the conduct of some elements of the Celtic support that night was unacceptable. Others may interpret their conduct differently however my view of some of the events concurs what others have said and what was reported in the press. But hey ho it’s all part of the conspiracy

As for tipping, having frequented a few pubs in the Gallowgate on match days it was a business opportunity that I learned from them that a few tunes played at the appropriate times was likely to increase your income. Part of which is regularly invested back in the club season after season through the medium of a season ticket purchase

Noo if you want to talk about lies you may want to portray the correct version of events which has you getting your knickers in a twist regarding my posts. The truthful fact is that I posted a link to a particular page that I believed you had initiated nothing more,a page which a simple search on your moniker revealed. I did not post a picture of you anywhere on cyberdom. You posted your picture.Thinking about it now I would not have been so hasty in posting the link if I had realised that you were not so interested in having a response to your advert from like minded Celtic supporting Ghirls.

The problem with cyberdom is that you haven’t a clue to who is sitting behind the keyboard posting whatever takes their fancy.

We need to talk about Kevin Bridges.

Just finished his book last night. Grew up in the Hardgate. I have cousins up that way so that part was interesting for me. Didn;t realise he went to the fitba every week and talks about Celtic a lot in his book.

Just a normal wee funny guy at school. He had the baws to go to a comedy club and go for it though.

Interesting insight into what it takes to be a comedian. The Bhoy grafted for a few years and done some absolute toilets to get where he is now.

The actual gigging could have been better covered to be honest I found a lot of that interesting.

The book stops at his first live show at the SECC so there will be a follow up no doubt but a very decent read all the same and I would reccomend it if you like Kevin, come from Clydebank or enjoy a autobiography as it is pretty funny and also a great insight into what he went through to get to where he is.

You looked at the link, you saw the picture, you posted the picture, really really simple, you couldn’t handle the discussion so you want after the antagonist by any means fair and foul. Being a polis you were well equipped to find what you considered dirt and had no hesitation posting it. It was neither fun or a laugh to you it was an attempt at bullying that failed miserably.

  9. Selfish of me to ask you not to post tennis updates!

I didn’t realise some of you were depending on them as you are working.
