Could be wrong but don’t think we need to go back to Ayebroke for at least six months and possibly as late as December. Hope I’m right anyway. Special mention to Hendrie and Bain, both played well today. Could be that happenstance could see both Jack and Scott stay in the team through to the end of the season, or at least for now. Either way both displayed a good mentality. Looking good for the run-in with both Stuart and Patrick back in the picture. Some good football to be played by us methinks.

Not usually a red card for that in Scotland unless of course it’s a Celtic player that does it.

Broonie must feel like an old grandad in the team that finished the match today!
When Cal Mac and James Forest are the other elder statesmen on the team you’re not putting out a team that’s long in the tooth. But the young guns remained composed in the main.
I think that means they deserve more credit for their achievements to date.

I sometimes think the bent refereeing claims are overdone here, but not today, They gave us nothing absolutely nothing. Probably was a red card OK but the linesman didn’t need to celebrate so much.
Thought Brooney was incredible today, what a warrior, he won us the game, make no mistake about it.
I would like to see Bain keep the jersey & let us see what he is made of. I think Big Eddie has proved his value & should be signed pronto.

CorkCelt, My memories not too good but I remember Watching the funeral parade of a famous Cork Man – Politician, president maybe? And they played a lovely song about the river. It was maybe ten years ago + but I watched it live over here in Scotland.
Good evening CQN. I haven’t read back and I don’t need to. I’m absolutely ecstatic. I watched the game in a Tim boozer ( the only one in South Ayrshire . Today showed up Scottish football, warts and all for what its become. Some of my best friends on the planet were telling me to “ calm doon “ @ halftime My answer was that this is what we buy into. A game that’s corrupt. By the grace of God , better players & an attitude that ( from our captain & manager) kept the hordes at bay , we emerged triumphant against the odds . My next sentence will probably be deleted by the monitors, but hey ho . Forget the fitba. Let’s just get to the nitty gritty or real McCoy. May I suggest a square go . One Wheapon of choice. Meet in the centre circle. One hundred , two hundred or whatever. Us against them . Even numbers. Maybe I’m dreaming , but, do you know what? They wouldn’t fancy it . Level playing fields don’t exist under the durastriction of the SFA. I hope I ain’t caused offence but the world we operate in , especially with the evidence from today is that Celtic FC on many levels are fighting corruption. KTF . I hope I live to witness the ten . I’m around OK WITS agree with you re the stupid comments yesterday, hopefully the win today will shut those clowns up for a few days.
Anyhow tonight should just be a celebration. May not have been our greatest football display but for pure heart & guts it was epic.
JimthrThim, That was most likely Jack Lynch. was a great Cork Sportsman & went on to be Taoiseach of the Country.
The song would have been The Banks of my own Lovely Lee, which is the Cork Anthem.
WITS has been known to belt it out after a few gargles.

After a week of ‘title challenges’ and ‘cheers from the dressing room’, I note a Steve Clarke puff piece has already supplanted today’s magnificent victory at Mordor on the BBC Scottish Premiership home page. They also ran another puff piece on him March 8.
Here come the squirrels and say hello to their new manager. This guy will be hyped to kingdom come between now and the semi-final. Mr Tumble is finished when he loses at Hampden and Celtic Park and Steve Clarke is the new massiah to sell those season books.

Celtic wont lose again this season imo. Only mibbery can deny another treble. The three french boys will destroy everything in sight between now and seasons end backed up by Paddy, Griff and Rogic.
No apologies need mi amigo, but you are right, the silence from the media will be deafening, it was a straight red all day long.

In my opinion Sevco have just reached the pinnacle in the last week. THAT is as good as it gets for them.
The closest they have ever been to us in their history with a chance of cutting that gap to a three points, a “win” away from being “equal” . No wonder the frenzy and hysteria of the success starved hoards.
Celtic will motor on now. win in the Semi comfortably and destroy them at Parkhead with a full squad to choose from.
next year they will be lining up with Murty in charge and whatever loanness they can assemble.
Next year, I think Brendan will really ramp it up. Europe will have hurt him this year, I think we will spend big to make an impact.
This morning is the closest they will EVER be.

Can’t believe people think that was a red card. A yellow for recklessness maybe, but for it to be a red there needs to be intent.
The linesman was at it, pure at it. Collum needed no excuse, a pathetic little troll of a man. Never a red.
The stories coming out of Glasgow airport re Sinclair are grim. Remember, these are the “posh” Huns, on business class tickets. No different from the would-be fascists marching at the Louden today.
