NICOLAS KUHN reckons he has stepped into a Bhoys’ Own Adventure after viewing Celtic Park for the first time.

The German winger touched down in Glasgow after sealing his £3million five-and-a-half year deal from Rapid Vienna to the champions, as CQN reported last night.

Kuhn is Brendan Rodgers’ first signing of 2024 and is ready to hit the ground running after weeks of speculation.

The versatile 24-year-old ace said: “I feel great that I’m finally here and I can’t wait.

“It’s a really big club and I’ve heard a lot about it. I’ve watched a couple of games already and we had a friendly against Celtic. It’s a big club and I’m really happy to be here.

“I am really motivated to do well for this great club and I want to get working immediately as we face our challenges in the league and the Cup this year, so I’m really excited for what’s coming.

“In the end, at Celtic, it’s about doing all we can to win every game, so that is the challenge here. I can’t wait to get going and do my very best for our supporters.”

Kuhn was impressed as he took a look of his new home and, speaking to Celtic TV, continued defiantly: “I’m really excited and I can’t wait to play out here.

“It’s unbelievable and I don’t really have words. This is what every footballer dreams of.

“The fans are so important and what I hear about the fans here means it’s going to be nice.”

Left-footed Kuhn, who has also played for RB Leipzig, Ajax and Bayern Munich as his career has progressed, has been given the No.10 shirt, but insists he can play in several positions.

Rodgers’ latest recruit added: “I’m variable, I can play on the left, as a second striker or as a number 10. Most of the time, though, I have played on the right wing.

“The manager told me he really wanted me and we had a really good talk.

“Now I’m looking forward to meeting my team-mates and everyone at the stadium.”

Kuhn is in line for a swift debut when the holders welcome Buckie Thistle to Paradise for the intriguing Scottish Cup Fourth Round encounter in Sunday’s 4pm kick-off.
