RODGERS LINES UP THREE NEW BHOYS

CELTIC are lining up THREE signings in next month’s transfer window as Brendan Rodgers searches for recruitments to bolster a squad that struggled in the 1-0 loss at Ibrox yesterday.

Teenager Mikey Johnston was forced to lead the attack for an hour of a game where the champions toiled to make any sort of impression.

He was replaced by Odsonne Edouard, but it was too late to change the complexion of the encounter.

The Hoops boss went into the match without Leigh Griffiths who is out for an indefinite period with personal issues.

Now Rodgers is poised to make a £1.75million bid for Ivory Coast star Vakoun Issouf Bayo, who has scored 14 goals in 25 appearances for Slovakian side DAC.

The 21-year-old frontman signed for DAC in March from Tunisian outfit Etoile de Sahel and has been in an impressive run of form.

Teenager Timothy Weah is also wanted on loan from Paris Saint-Germain while Rodgers views £5million-rated Belgian international defender Timothy Castagne as a long-term replacement for 32-year-old Mikael Lustig who is out of contract at the end of the season.
