EMILIO IZAGUIRRE and his Honduran team-mates will target Tom Rogic when they face Australia in the first leg of their crucial World Cup play-off a week tomorrow.
The Celtic midfielder is seen as the main threat to their bid to reach Russia next summer and he can expect special treatment in the opening encounter in San Pedro.
Honduran defender Henry Figueroa admitted: “Yesterday, we we were watching the Australian who plays for Celtic and we think he is a good player.
“But we hope to play well against them and we understand we know we are playing a team that is of the highest level.
“We are going to work hard as usual and we hope to deal them a blow.
“The first game is here and we hope to start with a bang.
“The objective is to close up at the back. We have to be respected at home.
“We have asked the fans to get behind us because this is our last chance, there’s no margin for error.
“Australia have players who are match-winners and we will have our work cut out to stop them.
“However, we are confident that we’ll be much better.”
