Will take the result today as a few new guys settle into the team and the formation.
But just how much better we could have been with a genuine Left Wing Back who can defend and get forward to deliver the ball in the box as Frimpong does on the right. Forrest looked like a fish out of water today.

Ta for the (vegetarian) sausage, That lets me post my three picks to Jobo based on what I saw, but not just on highlights.
Footie is very subjective, so great to see different viewpoints. Sometimes I think Big Wavy is at the wind-up, but I did agree with him that in the first half we were a bit open in midfield and a better team could/would have taken their chances. While saying that, Barkas looked very safe/competent (except for the flap at the cross in the first half).
As an Ollie fan I don’t agree with those who thought he was excellent today – it does ma knittin’ when I see a guy with that class lazily playing a ball BEHIND a forward moving player, making that player stop, go back, retrieve the ball then start forward towards the now amassed defence that’s had time to regroup. First half he did that at least half-a-dozen times!
Loved the way big Shane flattened Julienne to get the ball/goal. That’s my kind of centre back, loads more of that please. Also liked the way he was telling his back players how/where to get into defensive position, even when we were 5 – 0 up! A leader!

Tp class from Barkas, Fraser Forster couldn’t have played any better. He was given his chance a bit too often to showcase his talent though.
Delighted for Klimala. It was starting to get a bit Brattbakk. He still looked in the huff with himself when he scored. Would like to see him start on Wednesday but Ajeti had a good game too. Strong as an ox.
Speaking of cattle, Duffy is an absolute man mountain with a huge bull head on his broad shoulders. His mother must have been parked on bricks for weeks after birthing him. Only his third game since January I beleive. What a signing.

Celtic started to play when McGregor did. He brought Forrest into the game more. The midfield started to move the ball faster when Brown went off. Soro looked very comfortable, but Duffy looked like the centre half we’ve been needing for a long time. He’s a future captain.

Great result today. Great to see Big Shane in the Hoops. Big of game time and a goal each for Ajeti and Klimala and a wee win bonus for both Turnbull and Soro. Big Pete will be having a word with Lenny on that on Monday.

But I take your point regarding the midfield.Eddie was stopped going through the middle at about 66min and there wasn’t a Celtic player anywhere near the centre circle in there half or ours.It will take time I suppose for the team to find their grove and settle down.

Patrick Klimala will score plenty for us, dont get too down on yourself Pat as you took your goal well and nobody scores with every chance they get, big Eddy is a cool dude and total class, Albian Ajeti could rival Eddy for goals this season as he is a penalty box striker and we will be in the box often. Just a wee bit more organisation at the back and in midfield we will be sound, wide left still an obvious issue for balance, that could have been Boli’s position in a 3 5 2 but he has blown it.
