I am glad i didnt watch the game today,
it sounds like we scraped through, another turgid performance.defensive shambles, we are over reliont on scoring more than the opponents to win games.
we have played 2 games less than second huns and we have only scored the same number of goals as them (15)
is it to early to throw the towel in and concentrate on building a squad for next season ?
on a positive note i do like the look of gavin strachan , is he ready to take over from Lemon ?

Thought frimpong Duffy and Vargas played well today
As someone said earlier for all his legs have gone Scott brown still finds space to receive the ball and gets back into position to defend.
Also thought Soro looked a tidy player in his cameo appearance

They tired, we had pure class come from the bench to bury them.
We are far too open in midfield with no press and will be punished by better teams (as we have already have this season) was the lesson in the first half. They ran through us too often for my liking.
Play Soro, or buy a better Soro if not, before we get punished for it.

Winning 5 nil away from home always something to be treasured,
Duffy started tentatively as one would expect but grew into the game, he did exactly what he was brought in for, Some massive defensive headers and a typical Duffy goal.
An outstanding debut and a deserved man of the match award,
Delighted also with the Keeper’s performance, he needed a game like that to settle him down, so those 2 are in my picks.
Haven’t made my final choice yet but leaning towards Frimpong.

Strange game — we won at a canter eventually.
Two best saves = our GK.
Two strikes against the post = Our goals.
AD did his thing — KA booked after 12 minutes. / three similar RC fouls not yellow carded.
RC played the better football in the first half — more active and looked comfortable in the MF.
OE — took his penalty with real class.
AA — took his chance with real class.
Things got better in the second half.
SD has been bought for his personality not his subtlety.
PK — half finished / raw as sushi / glad he scored …
A Russian linesman would have given him his first chance.
