Who is this Brenda you speak of ?

All kidding aside, that penalty decision today was a total joke and hopefully Brendan realised how bad decisions can be……hopefully next Sunday the cheats with whistles don’t have a chance to influence the game

  2. Good point on forest and Roberts Doc. Never looked at it like that.

Forrest also prefers wide open spaces in front of him, paddy is happier taking players on at close quarters.

Had a wee tête-à-tête with an orc today who tried to say we where bending the rules

Told the prick our 20’s would destroy them as they did during the week

What did Brendan think about the hun non penalty at the end of our last game?? Not a peep. I’d hoped he’d have been more cute and on the ball this season, he should’ve been calling the cheats out much sooner before the important games came up. This might come back to bite him and us.

Think Brendan is sending out a message and not in a subtle way. He is judged on results and if the results are skewed by biased officiating then he must feel it needs addressed. He could be miles ahead of his opponents but, as we have seen on numerous occasions, all it takes is a dodgy decision particularly in the Cup competitions to derail what he is attempting to build.

Also worthy of consideration is how can you attract top talents to Celtic park if you see the type of challenges that are permitted like that on Roberts by Holt or by Miller on Armstrong to name but a few. Joining a club like Celtic could be viewed as career suicide or career ending given the standard of officiating at our games. This is from a group of clowns who are charged with improving the quality of the game.

Am a rubbish Catholic and probably always will be, MissGFTB in a couple of weeks will be making her first holy communion, and already I know it will be the proudest day of my life seeing her walk the walk……MrsGFTB works on a Sunday morning and phones to make sure we are going to mass, again am a rubbish catholic but still would rather my daughter be given the same opportunity my parents gave me :-)

    …………………

You’re a rubbish Catholic. So am I. You’re my type of Catholic, full of doubts and needing a kick up the backside to get you going. I have loads of doubts. I have fallen away many times but I have never been happy during these times. I try to keep going and I feel much happier when I do. You listen to Mrs GFTB and jump to attention when she calls :-))

Again, I agree, that was a pen when the Griff got Clinted, but, any ref could make a case for that, today was blatant cheating, NO contact….. Fair play if you think Brendan isn’t calling them out, me, I think he was raging today at the blatant cheats……. Nothing against Ross County but I hope they stay up by a point, might give the other teams in the SPL a chance to moan, as they have kept quiet about the cheats for many a year

I agree he was raging today, the problem I have it’s the first time I’ve seen him raging. He’s been far to much of a nice guy this season and I hope it doesn’t bite him.

Hey less of the seeing her “walk the walk”. You’ve lived too long in Gartsherrie amongst the undead. Her First Communion Dayvwill live either you forever. I read your posts on here and I wish I was as good a dad as you.

My turn not to disagree but it certainly makes Brendan’s job of attracting top quality players all the more difficult.

MrsGFTB has no faith whatsoever (Sevconian but one of, if not the best) but from day dot our daughter was always having my faith (her mother totally agreed) so now, I think she more or less says, I will make sure you both go :-)

When it come to mass, a good boot up the arsenne wenger is quite effective

I am doing missionary work in Gartsherry, still a Summerlee Bhoy in heart and mind, all the Huns here know me so well, they haven’t talked football since around 2011ish :-)

  17. RobertTressel, thanks, it’s worth looking at who replaces who, and at what time in a game.

Brendan is a shrewd operator, he will have these well thought out, with room to react to events added in of course.

Our families paths must have crossed, by the way I have a few cousins fae Kirkwood as well, not too far from Yogi’s the boozer…..if ever a chance of meeting up at one of BMCUW’s hoots it would be interesting, as well as both knowing JT from Bailleston…..

Anyhow, CQN good night and God bless, bank holiday Monday so am afraid I usually give CQN a miss while at work but will be back tomorrow, apologies in advance

  19. Doc . 9.11pm & 9.14pm .

    100% correct on both .

On another note , Mr Robertson will receive payment of nearly £800 for today’s game.

No sanctions . Why is young Dallas being fast tracked ? Not ability just his surname .

The list goes on and on .

We the support hold the aces . Our cash . Think about it . Stop paying into Hampden ,Ibrox etc .

  20. I have just overheard a line from the programme “In the line of duty” that the rest of the family are watching. “The Masons are the Mafia of the mediocre” said a woman officer to her Superintendent.

We would fare better with mediocre officials.

    Evening All.

Absolutely shocking refereeing today. Beyond any feasible explanation on the part of the officials.

Not sure if we can appeal Brown’s red for next Sunday but to be honest whatever team takes the field they will need to be good enough to beat all 14 opponents.

    Dallas Dallas

I am sure Don Robertson was a failed fitba player at Thistle who took up refereeing and was fast tracked. His brother Michael was at the Jags and now is at Clyde.

I seem to have opened a wee can of worms with my earlier post. It wasn’t intentional, I was just posting my thoughts at that moment…faith is something I think about a lot even though I profess to have none. I’m from a very devout family and religion has played a very big part in my life. It still does. If those who believe but question their faith can be described as being on the inside looking out, then I, as a non believer, find myself on the outside looking in. Not too dissimilar, methinks.

Tony Rome…there is no way I would influence my grandson’s beliefs. I know nothing. He will believe what he believes…and if he ever asks me to take him to mass, I will. Sin dudas.

I met a rangers season-ticket holder in Seville. His grandson had asked if he would take him to the final…”When yer grandson asks, what kin ye say”? I feel the same way.

  26. Agree with the praise as regards our captain.Wish all the team had the hardness and desire of the man.A true leader .Our own version of Roy Keane.Would always be in my team and has already became one of our most successful captains in history

  27. DD .

I take it for granted that he doesn’t get his hands dirty in his day job . As exiled Tim says , sort the refs , you sort the problem . Lets play devils advocate . Honest mistakes ? Why reward them ? The whole selection process for referees is flawed .
