Having disposed of Celtic and AZ Alkmaar in earlier Conference League knockout rounds, Bodo/Glimt return to Rome tonight to face Roma (why we insist on calling the city one name and the club another, when they answer to exactly the same word is perplexing). In November, on Europa League duty, they drew 2-2 with Roma, after defeating Jose Mourinho’s men 6-1 in Norway.
Our season that has already delivered so much, has European blots in August and February. The defeats to Bodo/Glimt, in particular, were an indication of how much work still has to be done. I would like to see the Norwegians go even deeper into the tournament, if only to offer a reflective glow on our own performance against them, but that feels too much like grasping for straws.
SPFL chief exec Neil Doncaster said he expected Pass to Paradise and other clubs’ streaming services to stop for domestic viewers from next season. There remains a significant number of season ticket holders shielding and unable to congregate in large crowds.
The League is dependent on Sky TV’s largess here. Sky changed the terms of their contract to permit Pass to Paradise-type services, a return to business as usual was always on the cards. Before that happens, a Health Accommodation exclusion is worth exploring, especially now season ticket renewals have been issued.
I know one season ticket holder who has not attended since the socially distanced game against Dundee in August. What happens next affects real people, real fans and their exclusion from football.

The mention of Moreloss has me wondering what happened to the guy who was suspected/arrested/charged/prosecuted for planting the car bomb under his motor, or something like that.
Anyone know?

As I understand it, following the incident a 29 year old male was charged with a breach of the peace.
He claimed that he was a private investigator hired by the wife of Morelols to plant a tracking bug on the car.
The wife denied the story.
The cops removed the car for forensic analysis.
There has been no further news published in the intervening 2 years. No reported pleading or court appearance as far as I can gather.
These Lambo forensic analyses take a while, don’t they.
…..and I am also off.

Ever since I turned off Java for this site on my laptop and manually do it on the iphone when on CQN, it runs great. I don’t have to do anything on my iPad as it is a pro funky works one and can handle the ads.
I do forget to turn Java back on sometimes on the iPhone. Wordle didn’t work once and it was stressful (ah no , too many letters)
PS on the train in the morning I now do Wordle, Nerdle, Worldle and Framed.

Board level will do, though there are questions to be asked of major shareholders and their intent for Celtic particularly our European and other development aspirations. Political wasn’t the right word, plain non footballing issues require Celtic to have a consigliere not conservatives who forget and think one half of the ‘old firm’ was relegated. Celtic dissociated themselves from ‘one half’ of any partnership with the old club, never mind the new club and continue to resist it at every turn.
The ball when its in Celtic’s half remains too often unkicked as it is this this week, following Trump FC’s latest bash.

TBB, As I recollect, the first press release was that someone was under the Tubby Colombian’s Lamborghini, tampering with the brakes. When it was pointed out that ground clearance on that particular model was such that it was physically impossible to get underneath it without a hoist, the story was changed to the tracking device scenario. Sounds like a squirrel to me.

First of all thank you for the reply. I have read many of your posts over time, and I know you’re “a soul who’s intentions are good” and you want the best for Celtic – I do not misunderstand that, I’ve just got a different take for the same outcome.
You make good points – I especially agree on the “consigliere” idea. We thought we had one in the late Paul McBride,RIP. (John Reid also made his presence felt on occasion). I would be in favour of that kind of(PMcB) ‘arm’s length’ intercession. Someone confident in all legal aspects could do good work ‘behind the scenes’. HH
Some intriguing ties today. What to watch? There is Barca, revived under Xavi. There is Moyes vs Moussa. There is Rodgers’ attempt to get further in Europe than he has ever been. There is Braga vs the Scruffy HillBillies. Finally, contrary to our esteemed host above, Bodo are not in Rome, but at home. How will Mourinho play it this time?
Physically, I can put games on three screens, with sound on one, but that is actually a bit of a pain. I find myself concentrating on one, and missing highlights on the others. Fortunately, the app Paramount Plus, like several do now, allows a multi-game version where they switch from game to game, and you just miss live goals by seconds. I think that’s the way to go today. Looking forward to a stress free watch!
