    On balance of threat of both teams St.J are good value for the lead and on the strength of what we’ve seen today and for large parts of the season I’m not sure we’ve got what it takes to win this game.

    Sadly laborious and predictable; what we’d give for some creative inspiration rather than this horseshoe/horseshit possession without penetration strategy.

     

    We should be so much bette than this – but the players not turning it on for our Brendan.

     

     

    Meanwhile the customary hunterloper-style pile-on to a 21yr old non-English speaking kid playing overseas for the first time in his life and in his first season of agriculturally tartan fitba. Yes he’s a letdown in this game but a bit of forebearance ffs !

    Well, we don’t have to worry aboutSevco penalties , refs or VAR , we’re quite capable of gifting Sevco the league ourselves with performances like this. Toothless , passionless , turgid football and a defence that looks like it’s having a nervous breakdown . All backed up by the least physical goalkeeper we’ve had in a long time . Yang needs to have the offside rule explained to him , preferably in the dugout .

    I’ll be surprised if he takes Yang off at half time. He was worse (if you can imagine that) last week and survived till about the 80th minute.

     

     

    If this is Lawwell junior’s idea of a player we’ve had it.

    We’ve a team littered with dross. Yang looks like a fan playing in a charity game. I hope not to see him playing again for a very long time.

    As poss poor as our recruitment has been we should have plenty to deal with the Saints of this world. This is on the players lack of drive and energy – I’m fairly sure the manager doesn’t tell them to pass poorly, don’t move into space and don’t pass to Kyogo – players are letting themselves and Celtic down

    Taylor is too slight and lightweight to play the role of blocking the striker/defending the goalkeeper.

    Never, ever been a fan of Brendan’s style, crab like,side to side shit, yet he gives all this crap about quick aggressive passing, all bullshit.

     

    |Seriously think we will not win the league with that team, and more importantly, that style of play.

    Even Rodgers has seen enough of Yang.

     

     

    Maybe there is hope. If Johnstone is the answer then it must have been a stupid question.

     

     

    However, I’ll be delighted if I’m wrong.

    Started well, but ran out of ideas. Powderpuff stuff at their goal – we need to get stronger defensively. Joe Hart needs to do better and all the other defenders need to command the box and win their personal duels. Taylor and Scales in particular are just not strong enough. Yang having a bit of a mare – will likely get hooked. Let’s see what the second half brings.
