Has Delia or Collins come out of the dugout during the first half to instruct/encourage the team?

    Need a break.

  3. I am impressed with ML at CH.

A wee bit rash in the tackle but hard and no nonsense game.

    Oops my feed just paused

  4. Started off OK but not managed to build on it.

    Has KC lost his mojo?

    Centre midfield poor as expected.

Should be said with the exception of last season we have started slowly in every season since WGS departed.

  5. As for Ronny and Jonny….maybe we all need to get used to the notion that they are phlegmatic personified and won’t be doing an MON zebedee impersonation any time soon!!!

    ;-).

That’s where Celtic have (most times) have to overcome

I think it shows we need more creativity or current players step up with that creativity

I just think a penalty box player is missing

Anyway, will be there on Saturday.

Of course it wasn’t but did I detect a degree of frustration in that post? I simply ask as it makes you seem almost human ;)

  8. Better shape, better defending. Good.

Did Krist Commons benefit a lot from teams trebling up on Samaras which created space for him? Kris is now our marked man. That’s Ok but forest or mcgregor need to take advantage.

  9. Johansen doing the unheralded job of sitting on front of the centre backs, breaking up play and moving the ball forward quickly well. All our problems come from the ball getting played in behind our wandering full backs.

    There’s 2 hopes of that….you being quiet on something…..

None and….well you know the rest!

  11. the glorious balance sheet on

One shot on target so far. If you don’t buy a ticket you can’t win the lottery.

  12. Seemed quite a good start but doubt has crept in.

Chances will come, St Johnstone have a plan to contain. They fear Celtic.

Fingers crossed for the 2nd half!

  13. Delaneys Dunky on

A big improvement from last Wed. KC & AS excepted. Oh how we need a number 9 goalscorer to hold the ball up and provide a target in the box. Craig Gordon looks the part and leading the defence. Gies a goal please bhoys.

  14. Not happy with the body language of our new manager.

Can see his high tempo game up front but it involves lots of one touch football across the penalty box.

    Where is the forward pass?

Or the opening for the shot??

    C’mon the Hoops.

  15. RobertTressell

Yes we don’t have to many special players who would free up space for other por cierto

  16. SFTB

Agree Biton in midfield hasn’t given ball away once, although was caught a bit slow in an effort.

Also think young McGregor needs to being more to support Izzy, who is not yet up to speed

  17. Half time, good possession everyone is at least showing for the ball and trying, Kris will you shoot at goal tonight, make a space n hit it.

St Johnstone are solid, very deep line, stodgy, looking for free kicks throw in’s n corners tae give them a rest n slow everything doon, it’s a good gameplan till you lose a goal.

Solution, get tae byeline, turn them, cut back, late runners, tap in. Celtic win.

    Hail Hail.

  18. Antos best position is as second striker

To be effective he needs a main striker to play beside him.

Nice bit of defending before the break mind

  19. HT snack

Hummus with green onions, celery and cucumber.

Well it’s sharper than Stokes tonight.

Saints use a sub. Caddis off

  21. Missing Broonie’s onfield leadership and drive. No one stepping up yet !

An early goal would settle nerves and give confidence boost.

Up a gear for the first 15 mins and we can take all 3 points.

Agree that we desperately need a penalty box striker

  22. Better than the Legia debacle.

    Progress.

Not massive progress but it’s a marathon not a sprint.

St Johnstone are just an ugly team, like their boss

  23. We wull get Bettah.
