Stunning endeavours on the Ben

614

Absolutely stunning tales of endeavour from those who climbed the tallest peak on these isles yesterday for the Ben Nevis Huddle to raise funds for Celtic FC Foundation.  The Foundation anchors our club to its founding principles, working locally and worldwide towards four goals:

Improve Health
Promote Equality
Encourage Learning

Tackle Poverty

It survives because lots of ordinary Celtic fans step forward, or put their hands in their pockets, because they believe Celtic is a lofty and noble cause.

If you’ve not been able to support any of the climbers direct, inspiration for the event is primarily the responsibility of Mark Cameron, you can find his Foundation linked MyDonate page here.

If you’re in business check out The Celtic Network’s new Service Finder’s opportunity to market to Celtic fans.

Visit the CQN Bookstore to get Tommy Gemmell to sign your personal copy of his book, All the Best.

I’m having a relaxing Sunday evening and consequently have no real desire for a lengthy debate, however, your post is deserving of a suitable response.

When I saw the posters advertising the band that were playing at the event I was surprised. The band are known for singing Irish songs which at Celtic games would now be deemed, inappropriate by Celtic, and illegal by the authorities.

I was astonished when I heard that Bankier was going to be in attendance if I’m being honest.

It’s irrefutable that Celtic have handed the details of some supporters to the police without their knowledge. These are the details of guys who have neither been charged or found guilty of any offence relating to the OB Bill.

I find it hypocritical that the chairman of Celtic Football Club would attend an event where songs such as BOTOB would be sung given the circumstances I’ve highlighted.

Jim Craig can say what he pleases, he has no official links to the club.

  4. Is Lee Dixon the worst pundit at Brazil 2014?

Mind you we’re spoilt for choice.

He’s up against Mystic Meg Hoddle and Afghan Ian Wright.

Yep I know that. But should they not also notify any individual whose details have been passed to the authorities?

    That’s not happened.

However, for a tenner you can find out if they have.

  12. WC, any chance you can summarise what IB communicated last night? Apols if already posted. Hail! Hail!
