THAT WAS HORRID, HENRY

CELTIC target Henry Onyekuru has returned to Belgian side Eupen after going AWOL.

The Nigerian striker was upset when he wasn’t granted a move to the Scottish champions during the January transfer window.

Onyekuru, 19, had his heart set on joining Brendan Rodgers’ outfit, but Eupen rejected a Parkhead bid of £1million for the 10-goal frontman.

The player then failed to turn up for training with no-one at the club being told his whereabouts.

He missed three games, but has now returned to training following a meeting with the team’s bosses.

It is unclear when coach Jordi Condom will welcome Onyekuru back into his first team plans.

The Hoops may return for the pacy attacker in the summer, but the goalscorer has an alternative escape route he can take much sooner than June.

CSKA Moscow have been credited with an interest and the transfer window is still open in Russia.

But after enduring a horrid few weeks Henry, who is well aware that Brendan Rodgers has him in his sights, is more likely to wait for a happier summer outcome.
