The Res 12 ‘news’

622

Credit to STV, who at least called Uefa to ask what was going on, and got a taste of the correspondence, with the carefully chosen words, “Rangers’ three-year exclusion from playing in Europe after going into liquidation was the major factor in a case not being pursued”.

Uefa’s correspondence to the Requistioners was far more explicit on the new club/same club point, and took no cognisance of other matters (5-way Agreement, anyone?).

It’s remarkable (and a credit to all involved) that Uefa responded to the Resolution 12 questions over two weeks ago but news didn’t leak.  It’s simply not been possible for the guys to comment while matters progress, and despite yesterday’s ‘news’, they have avoided the temptation to fire off a response (others have also felt it imprudent to step into a public debate) for what remains an issue under legal guidance.

I know the lack of public information is frustrating (as is the associated flack, b.t.w.), but my best recommendation is that we let them get on with it.

  5. Good morning CQNERS

What great news about Private Eye running an article about Hun tax dodging.

This is a great opportunity for all of our own on the periphery who want to do something about the whole situation concerning Res 12 and all things related to the cheats from Ibrox.

At a cost of £1.80 we can demonstrate to PE that there is great interest in exposing the ongoing conspiracy to keep things hushed up in Scotland.

I was at a loss as to what I could do to assist the cause until the Res 12 t-shirts came up. I have now bought mine and a few books to add to my contribution but this article by PE gives all of us a golden chance to increase the circulation of PE significantly in Scotland particularly and giving Ian Hislopl some food for thought about investigating a bit further. Come On You Boys In Green…you know it makes sense.

Congrats to all the Res 12 boys and thank you. I believe we are now about to see an unstoppable charge to expose the lies and untruths we have had to sit and suffer these last 4 years.

If Joe Allen is available,I think BR would like him at Celtic.A terrific wee player.Lets hope. Not too bothered with Simunovic injurt at the moment. The boy had a broken bone in his knee.Nasty.If he recovers well,he is due his chance this season. That will be the time to assess his fitness. The Euros are not making it easy for anyone in the transfer market at the moment. It will be bedlam when they finish.Bad timing for us.

    Happy birthday Auldheid.

  12. Cyrenean like your optimism . Canny see it myself ‘ they always wriggle off the hook . Big gap in the supreme court case as well , gives them plenty time to look for any wee loopholes in the case , they will come out of that as well smelling of roses , or i will be astounded of forehead , seen it to often . But a debt of gratitude due to the res12 bhoys from every celt anyway .

They would have to upgrade the facilities in the Stand, if “Rosie” became a patron.

It’s been years since I watched Corrie, but my memory of the wee lass is of her being constantly sent upstairs to “wash your ‘ands, Rosie”.

I really thought that sponsors at Ibrox should be made aware of the appalling content of the ‘Club Statement’ of 22nd May 2016.

It was so well crafted, concise and informed that no company who cherished their reputation, could risk ignoring it, or worse, palm it off with the usual platitudes afforded to “disgruntled customers.

    I blame your school!
