The Res 12 ‘news’

622

Credit to STV, who at least called Uefa to ask what was going on, and got a taste of the correspondence, with the carefully chosen words, “Rangers’ three-year exclusion from playing in Europe after going into liquidation was the major factor in a case not being pursued”.

Uefa’s correspondence to the Requistioners was far more explicit on the new club/same club point, and took no cognisance of other matters (5-way Agreement, anyone?).

It’s remarkable (and a credit to all involved) that Uefa responded to the Resolution 12 questions over two weeks ago but news didn’t leak.  It’s simply not been possible for the guys to comment while matters progress, and despite yesterday’s ‘news’, they have avoided the temptation to fire off a response (others have also felt it imprudent to step into a public debate) for what remains an issue under legal guidance.

I know the lack of public information is frustrating (as is the associated flack, b.t.w.), but my best recommendation is that we let them get on with it.

He had the assistance of a brown stick. Refused the white one. He was gifted a piano from St VdeP after the war and he learnt to play it by ear. He entertained the family at many doos, and the Saint Ninian’s Knightswood parishoners.

my maternal great grandparents were from Tubbercurry/Bunnanadin/Doocastle Co Sligo, the family once had a farm at the confluence of 3 counties, but settled for working in the Paisley mills in late 1860’s

  16. Delaneys Dunky,

Your Polish grandfather would be proud of you. I have no doubt of that.

Your story about getting the bus fromTemple is awesome.

I often pass the well cared for war memorial outside Saint Ninians. To my shame I have never checked any detail. Your stories have inspired me to stop and check.

Maybe your grandfather is watching over it.

    Hail, Hail.

He was a great player at Swansea under BR. Like many, went to Man City for a large pay cheque and lost his way.

Saint Ninian’s Knightswood is a great parish. The war memorial is an ecumenical thing. The Knightswood masonic hall off Fulton Street tried to take control.

    Nae chance.

We fought the nazi. They built ships and bullets and guns.

    Tims fought.

The teacher at my secondary , I most feared and going by his surname , Banciwicz , was of Polish descent. His reputation preceded him . Only three people in my maths class , never got an A in o level Maths.
