I’m beginning to believe some of the ‘Unseen..’ paranoia that goes around town myself. Absolutely delighted, and a bit surprised, Fifa ratified John Guidetti’s transfer to Celtic. He’s a player we have tried to buy for three consecutive summer transfer windows; this guy has been watched, courted and pursued by Celtic, Feyenoord, Ajax and no doubt a whole lot more.
Since his marquee season in Rotterdam he’s come through debilitating illness but is now healthy, if in need of some match sharpness.
He is ineligible for the Europa League group stage but will be available for the round of 32 through to the final in Warsaw.
There was a real meeting of minds between player and club on Monday; he liked the way we went about our business and people at the club were impress with his personality. Apparently, he’s another “strong character” to add to the others who have arrived at the club over the last week.
If only we had a song for him….

John Guidetti joins Celtic
By: Mark Henderson on 04 Sep, 2014 17:12
CELTIC have completed the signing of Swedish internationalist John Guidetti on a season-long deal from Manchester City.
And the highly-rated striker joins hot on the heels of Serbian hitman Stefan Scepovic, handing the Scottish champions a double boost as the campaign resumes following the current international break.
The 22-year-old moved to the Blues as a 16-year-old and impressed in their youth ranks, before heading out on a series of temporary moves.
He enjoyed a particularly profitable period at Dutch giants Feyenoord, averaging almost a goal a game and bagging three hat-tricks in a prolific season.
And now the new Bhoy is relishing making an impact for Ronny Deila’s men over the coming campaign.
Aff oot.
A happy Hoopy Bhoy

And here he comes…
Good evening Tony. Do you think I am a lurking (or indeed posting) hun?
Martim
I have no interest in Sevco or Rangers or whatever you like to call them
Our manager is not up it
He should never have been appointed
I would like to him replaced as soon as possible.
I hope he proves me wrong
Good news – common sense prevails. Well done Celtic – again
What a productive transfer window. Maybe not the smoothest, but that’s football.
Now, let’s get a few SPL points on the board.
So john finally joins ,naming rights for a quid ,revolting Huns is there any other kind I hear you ask admin coming over the horizon is this Nike Thursday. ?
Zoom…
The last forward who joined us on loan from Man City – with something to prove – didn’t work out too badly for all concerned…
Time to scrap the transfer window.
Mibbee we just did!
UFH CSC!

It’s says we have signed this player.
I’m delighted.
Welcome to celtic John.
Has to be GAUDETE !
Cheers for the info re contract
corkcelt here here I have a good feeling about this one.
traditionalist88 hope he loves it and does the job then we can try and get a deal sorted. If he starts banging them in then he will have a lot more options.Hopefully we can get a deal done.
HH
Ally McCoist demands to know who these people are on the SFA committee, oh! And the cleaner at Hampden found a Mr Bryson locked up in the cubord
Where they keep the mops.
Warm welcome to Celtic, John. Settle in quickly and bang the goals in! Took a long time to finally get you to Paradise but long may you stay!!! HH!!
Does WGS still post on here?
If you do I bet your pleased! You have been mentioning Guidetti for a long time.

What is the Stars
They’re called Sevco and you know it.
rangers were liquidated.(they don’t even get capitlised any more)
Are you going to post anything else but you’re Ronny Out nonsense? That’s all you do.
How long can we expect this for?
Team really starting to look meaner and fasting up top. We might even see a headed goal or two from open play!
Could someone put up a link for Bergots goal last night?
those souls in poundland must be beside themself lol
Great news on our new super Swede.
Still think the huns at the SFA knew exactly what the outcome would be.
They couldn’t stop him playing in the SPL but did prevent him from being available to play in Europa group stages.
The same association who stayed up way after the deadline to register a hun but stuck to the strict timeline for us.
clunks, I think the goal is on Celtic Facebook. I saw it earlier but I’m mince at links. Cracking shot.

No option to buy but as been pointed out, free to talk to Clubs in January. If I were PL I would have the contract drawn up now, put in the Drawer an at 0:01 on 1st January 2015 put it in front of him.
Keep the Faith!
Hail Hail!
Martim
Until he is gone
Don’t like it,scroll on by
Tell me ,do you think he is a good manager
Great to see Guidetti join… Not available for Europe… Ach just play him anyway what’s the worst that can happen?
Re, The new lad, he lacks match sharpness and we are probably better going with Sevco Panicfest for the first couple of Europas anyway. On the same issue, hope lads don’t expect wonders against Aberdeen, if he plays.
Awesome news! Can’t wait to see Big Bad John in action. If Pukki’s shyness was a problem, I can’t see that being an issue with our new striker.
We shouldn’t expect too much too soon though. He needs to get his fitness levels up.
What is the Stars
I will once you tell me what you think of the pending administration at Sevco.
HH
With the caddett song getting a makeover and all the songs we had for players at that time. The present team are a very poor standard. Not one player in the present team gets us off our seats when he gets the ball.

John Guidetti’s club career –
72 appearances, 44 goals, 20 assists. 5032 minutes played. 8 yellow cards, 1 red card.

I think he is away with Sweden U21. Not sure if playing will have a look. Hopefully he isn’t too far away fitness wise.

Martim
You are being silly
I have no interest in Sevco
I would like to see Celtic play in a more competitive league
I presume your like Ronny as a manager, dont you have any reservations at all about his ability
Fantastic news on big John.
Can’t understand why he’s not eligible for the the EC group stages as he’s been on the UEFA
Website as a Celtic player since Tuesday.
Anyway I’ll be happy in this transitional period if we just win the League to keep the 10 in a row going.
Anything else will be a bonus.
Not going to judge a guy on his YouTube clips but one thing I did like was, to use the Glesga parlance, his gallusness.
We have been lacking character. I want a player who will drag others with him when the chips are down.
Hope I’m right.
Lennybhoy. If Guidetti does well and finds his fitness and for Man,City are likely to want to re-sign the player.Lets just enjoy the Bhoys skills while he is with us. H.H.

Or down? Just so some our Bhoys can keep up!

Think this could be a great bit of business and seems a good fit for the club as a player and a person.
He puts the ball in the nettie
hes like a swedish tease
cause he scores with ease.
