Lots of praise falling on a club that pretends to be another club that was liquidated 10 years ago due to reckless financial practices. No one in the media wants to talk about the between 10 and 20 million shortfall they have been running at each year for years. It is simply financial doping on a grand scale and had they won the europa league they would have been rewarded.
The club plays out of ibrox has to get spending under control by reducing outgoings, increase income by selling biggest assets, gamble on European income or a mixture of them all.
Celtic sell and reinvest, we don’t gamble and we spend within our budget. Business heads take control rather than hearts. He’s not replacing his donkeys, he’ll likely have to replace Macgregor, Goldson, Aribo, Kent and fatty – 5 players who start every week.
They’re presently second best in Scotland, they’ll need to get better to keep up with an improving Celtic never mind overtake us, while replacing their best players. We’ve been doing it for years, turning over our best player while staying at the top, they haven’t, ever.

One thing is for sure, they’re no daft. Park didn’t build his empire by being daft. Of course they seem more amenable to taking risks than our custodians, but then they always have been – “AYE READY” should be “WHATEVER IT TAKES”, although nowaday’s with it’s with a kinda built-in safety-net.
Will our outlook change with the realisation that success in the EL can be achievable from a Scottish football perspective? That game last night was massive for sevco bean counters , in so far as to give them some beans to count in the close season .
Make no mistake if they had guaranteed income from CL group stages today they would be borrowing on the strength of it .

Last night puts them slightly behind the curve for the start of next season and I am hoping we take full advantage .One thing I am very confident in ,is that we won’t give them 11 points of a start in the first 7 games .
Up until now Ange looks like a coach that wants things in place in brisk fashion and at the heart of this is his determination that if he has to sell coming to our great club to you ,then your probably not the right player to be there .
That simple philosophy tells players and agents that ,he and we as a club are not there to be messed about and used as a bargaining chip for other clubs .It’s a simple do you buy into Celtic , if not we move on and YOUR chance is lost .
