TRFC submit incomplete Annual Return

1075

Companies House published the long overdue Annual Return for The Rangers Football Club Ltd (previously Sevco Scotland Ltd) today.  Although only received by Companies House yesterday (12 Sep 13) it was dated 29th May 2013, however, the submission was incomplete.

A company is required to detail all their shareholders since their previous Annual Return (or as in this instance, since formation).  Companies House say the Annual Return must detail “the name of every shareholder (or joint-shareholders) who has ceased to be a shareholder since the made-up date of the previous annual return (or in the case of a first return, since the incorporation of the company)”.

The only shareholder detailed on this Annual Return is Rangers International Football Club PLC (RIFC PLC).  RIFC PLC was not formed until 16 November 2012, nearly four months after Sevco Scotland Ltd was formed, so could not have been a founding shareholder.

And there’s more…….

The Rangers Football Club Ltd issued a Statement of Capital to Companies House, dated 31 October 2012, showing the same number of shares in issue as this Annual Return (33,415,200), some two weeks before Rangers International was formed.  The Statement of Capital was submitted by Caroline Nicholls of Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP, who should be in a position to assist the directors.

I’d never really given any consideration to who owned Sevco Scotland Ltd  prior to the shares being consumed by Rangers International, but this omission is curious.  The story will move on now with auditors Deloittes taking centre stage.  They have plenty on their plate prior to signing off the PLC’s accounts so may be happy to turn a blind eye to the reporting requirements of a subsidiary company.  Companies House already have an active issue over submissions for Sevco 5088 Ltd, it remains to be seen whether this one passes below the radar.

This is all so unnecessary as I am sure the correct information would be perfectly appropriate and in good order.

Can you imagine what we would be doing if our ‘club’ was being run in this manner?  This story is being played out while all those who should be asking questions are being distracted by a player betting against his own club!

In the grand scheme of things it doesn’t matter if Ian Black hedges against himself, or what embarrassingly light punishment he receives.  The real story is so much bigger, it is being written in large type, visible from the moon landings, but the football authorities appear happy to stand back and let events take their course.

No looks of surprise next time around – from anyone.

The atmosphere would be truly frightening. I think the “bitter rivalry” from past days has now evolved in to utter hatred for one another after their attempts to destroy us. In fact there is now an utter contempt for all SPL teams by the support.

Perhaps I am wrong, but the SFA/SFPL just do not know what they have created by their crusade against us.

  2. sipsini,

Agreed amigo – he’s a benefit in the long run to Scottish society :)))

But the thing is, the big story is nowt to do with RFCIL or Sevco 1,2,3 etc imo. Think £1000M bank loans by masonic huns. Think land deals with local councils using blackmale. Think death threats, murder. We are a convenient and easy distraction to be played. Thankfully, its only in Britain where there is enough stupidity to fall for this.

Scotland in Independence or part of the UK, doesn’t matter. The SNP have shown they have no intention to tackle these issue, but rather, make them worse.

Scotland was fecked the day Harland & Wolff were brought over here by the British govt. At that time, workers were using the power of the people to question the actions of the govt. They snuffed vox populi out, and look at where we are now, in the 21st Century, in one of the richest countries in the world.

Cheers amigo. My grandad was an important union mhan on the Clyde. 3000 at his funeral when I was 4 yrs old. Bone of contention was, he refused to join the Knights at the invite of his brothers. Should he have joined, I don’t know, wasn’t there.

We had integrity back in those days, that’s the point. Differences came from everyone wanting the same objective. Now we can actually see how money is the decider. An Stot (Kit) made some important observations today re supporting Celtic with or without money. He was largely ignored.

We are all better off than the 1950s in that a bigger percentage of us have heating and homes. But where’s our freedom of expression? Where’s my freedom as a Catholic to walk down the street and if I’m not attacked by a random hun, not be pulled over and asked what school I went to by rozzers.

Freedom is at its most minimal in our human history. Yet we are absolute muppets, from the UK and USA, when we accept the leaders telling us they are saving the world by invading country after country after country.

AC Milan starlet Stephan El Shaarawy will not take part in the Rossoneri’s match against Torino on Saturday after picking up a right thigh injury during training. The 20-year-old has struggled to rediscover his form from the first half of last season and has only found the back of the net three times since the beginning of 2013. Now he must also deal with an injury to his right thigh after picking up the problem during the Diavolo’s final training session before travelling to Turin for Saturday’s match.

The injury was confirmed on the Rossoneri’s official website, stating that the youngster will undergo tests in the coming days to diagnose how much time he is set to miss. “AC Milan communicates that, during the course of finishing training today, Stephan El Shaarawy has picked up a muscle injury to the biceps femoris muscle of the right thigh,” the statement read. “In the coming days the player will undergo further medical examinations to determine a prognosis and recovery time.”

The news will come as another blow to Massimiliano Allegri who saw Ignazio Abate, Mattia De Sciglio and Matias Silvestre all ruled out this week due to injuries.

They will join the likes Daniele Bonera, Gabriel, and Giampaolo Pazzini on the treatment table as the Rossoneri will see their depth tested in the coming weeks due to the injury crisis.

You’re grandad was his own man and probably thought it best to keep himself distanced from joining the knights as it would have been used as a stick to beat him with.

It probably wouldn’t have been a problem for the other half of the divide…more likely a vote winner.HH

Lenny has confirmed Teemu Pukki has been included in the squad for tomorrow´s fixture. Mikael Lustig and Joe Ledley have also been passed fit so will make the journey to Edinburgh. Nir Biton is not due to meet up with the squad until they arrive in Milan next week, but James Forrest will not travel.

I take this to mean JF will not travel to Tynecastle (i.e. not Milan).

  20. First Celtic Game chat anyone? :))

Mines was me Grandad – I was 4 years old so can’t remember exactly where and when. I’ve always thought it was St Mirren, but now am thinking totally wrong. He took and me and two of my cousins (7 and 9 I’d say), and we saw ourselves on TV that night during the highlights. Going back to 1978. I’ve searched the results etc over the years and am starting to think it must have been a Motherwell game, as our cousins and me and the bruv all lived in Chapelhall. So our Grandad got a bus from Ruchill into town, then got a bus out to Chapelhall (or Holytown), collected us all, took us to the game (might even have been Paradise, I don’t know), then returned us all, and made his own way home after.

That was how much he valued us AND Celtic.

  21. Why Do I Bother? on

    Can someone enlighten me here?

As I vaguely recall, at some point, possibly during the 80s, the Celtic fans decided amongst themselves to become ambassadors for the club.

By that I mean, to police themselves and ensure that the fans behaved in an exemplary manner.

The ultimate demonstration of this being Seville.

I can’t recall what event triggered this. Was it the Rapid Vienna debacle or perhaps the 1980 Cup Final.

Not sure. But I definitely recall a decision to be the opposite of TFOD fans.

Maybe it’s just my befuddled brain but I am sure something happened to deliberately turn away from any loutish behaviour.

  23. Good afternoon from an overcast, humid and soon-to-be thunderstruck Gold Coast.

9:30pm kick-off for us east coast Aussies and I am looking forward to a 3-1 Celtic triumph.

Just been reading back. When I said last night that I don’t waste my time discussing “daft conspiracy theories” I was talking about the big “world event” conspiracies such as the moon landings, the Kennedy assassination and the “murder” of Diana Princess of Wales and so on. I was not referring to more localised issues like corruption in Scottish Football, Masonic referees and the anti-Irish/Catholic/Celtic establishment. I have first hand experience of these and in any case, don’t consider them as conspiracies per se.

Just wanted to set that straight.

By the way, I don’t believe for one second that Kennedy was killed by a lone gunman. I simply don’t know what happened and unlike a lot of people, I don’t pretend to know. Let’s face it. There are at least a dozen different conspiracy theories surrounding that tragic day. They can’t all be right.

  24. Why Do I Bother? on

I should just clarify, I am not implying that before the 80s Celtic fans behaved badly.

Celtic fans have always been generally well behaved but some fans definitely reacted to provocation.

But I am sure the fans decided to tackle the badly behaved elements themselves.
