Well played especially away from home in Europe. Unlucky to be down to 10 men ref very poor AGAIN! How come we never get a rotten ref who gives us everything?
Amazing the type of team you can play with €250million of other people’s money!
Good to see so many positive comments after a defeat.
There will be many other in Fair Caledonia pleased that we are out of Europe…..until they realise that our team will be well rested for most games now !
Cheerio for now and well played Celtic.

Proud of the bhoys tonight. Game changed with the sending off. We were the better team before then and causing them problems.
If we had played as well in the first leg, who knows?
Saw the right back making the run and shouted to Hayes but he mustn’t have heard me :-)
Created a few decent chances and worked really hard as a team.
Really missing KT. Will be a big lift to have him back on Sunday when there will be a lot of tired legs.

make no mistake – that was a solid performance, going to plan until the referee interfered and quite Franky influenced the outcome of the game. Its happening way too often but I don’t expect to see or hear from our board! have they condemned the police attacks yet??
Before the match Rodgers talked about learning his trade from the Spanish style of play – I have absolutely no respect for any player rolling around theatrically to encourage the ref to book. its a side of the game I despise, its a side of the game that has NEVER been dealt with – any player doing this should get a red as it brings the game into disrepute. FIFA/UEFA just don’t seem to want to solve this.

I hope we can learn a lot from that performance.
We were positive with full side in first half.
With ten men in the second half we responded and our character was shown.
Possibly we should adapt our European tactics to reflect the way we set up and how the guys responded.
Ajer showed us he belongs at the top level, and along with the academy bhoys it augurs well for the near future.

Missed the first half as I got stuck in Granada, from what I saw in the second half we were immense.
I can’t as yet comment on the sending off but it would be a pleasure to be refereed like that every week going by what I saw in the second half, aye he made a couple of mistakes but imo they were honest ones.
Not in any way downhearted.
As for the bother with the polis, I was told this morning from a friendly scottish polis man, a very high up polis man, that the not so friendly scottish polis were the instigators for the Spanish polis’s heavy handedness.

Ajer could turn out to be the best bit of business we’ve done for many a year. I’m not talking about financial business like Dembele , I’m talking about business that makes a long term contribution to the football team.
Jamesie continues to be an enigma , and Odsonne needs a run of games to get his stuttering season going.

TET – The damage was already done in the first half by the ref. Sending a player off should never be taken so lightly – two very soft yellow. They fouled and pulled and didn’t receive yellows – no consistency = suspicion.
he ruined the game and nullified our threat – 2nd half was a formality!
That was a brave performance but, ultimately, a heroic failure.
Valencia were happy to sit back and complacent on their 2:0 lead but, even they, did not expect to concede the chances they did to Celtic.
Unfortunately, we did not convert any of those good chances and the effort of playing with 10 left us very open to a much less fluent Valencia tonight.
We can do no more than suck it up and move on to league business.
Scott Bain has earned the goalie’s jersey and Johny Hayes has eraned a run as back up LB and left wing.
