The good people running the weeoscar4life campaign have been in touch and asked me to pass on information regarding the appeal and forthcoming quiz night in Glasgow later this month:
“As many of you will be aware the weeoscar4life campaign team have recently been involved in raising the profile of a wee 3 year old boy from Belfast called Oscar. Many of you have kindly supported this initiative by purchasing CQN badges and wee Oscar wristbands and taking part in the “Small Change for US, Big Change for Oscar campaign”, with the money raised all going towards getting Oscar the treatment that he so desperately needs.
The next event that we have organised to help raise the £250,000 required for Oscar’s treatment is a quiz night. This will take place on the 29th September in The Phoenix (Previously Eastenders) on the Gallowgate with a 7pm start.
The quiz will be made up of a variety of questions, 50% Celtic related and 50% general knowledge. There will be raffle prizes and we also hope to have some live music after the quiz has finished.
Tickets are priced at £5 and you can buy as many as you wish for friends and family so long as they are over 18. Don’t worry if you aren’t able to make up a team of 4/5 as we will arrange you into teams before the event. We hope to be able to offer a ‘print at home’ ticket service so that you would be able to simply bring your tickets on the night.
Until then if you can contact us at weeoscar4life@gmail.com then Wecan begin to allocate spaces to those who have expressed an interest.
Thank you once again for your continued support.”
It is sure to be a fantastic night so please book early.
You can continue to read CQN Magazine FOR FREE, or can subscribe for £10 or £20 and our sponsor, Executive Shaving, who offer an enormous range of grooming products, are offering readers a £20 voucher for all £30 CQN Magazine subscribers.

I honestly believe that the Police, and Scottish Government, have other, more pressing, priorities ……UEFA / SFA will now suspend sevco and that will be ‘good’ ….. If they don’t, they will rue the day
BB
Aye too true
5-5
D 6-5
6-6
D serve on tie break
Murray has choked in every grand slam final.
Will this be the one that changes him from nearly man to a winner?

67heaven..,
the scottish govt has obviously directed the PF office who have advised the police, the worse the behaciour the more power they can give themselves.
behaviour as well, the lack of prosecution if leggo is IMO evidence

Or just beaten by better players on the day?
Afternoon all,
I know diddly sh1t about tennis but this match up is very exciting.
Good luck to Murray, he is putting everything in to his game.
Hail Hail

‘Murray has choked in every grand slam final’
Disagree with that. In Federer, Nadal, Djokovic he is playing 3 of the greatest men’s singles players ever
“whatever the decision of the SPL Commission, these titles cannot and will not be taken away from us.”
Bhuns, beware the wolf in sheep’s clothing …remember agent Whyte ….
Greengo howleth at the moon…!!!!

Murray has only ever lost in Grand slam Finals to the top players…one day he will beat them hopefully today
set point on serve come on
Nae wonder Murray struggles to win with Methuselah constantly watching from the stands.
Despite losing slam finals to all-time greats at the height of their powers…AM has choked in those games.
He got into good positions in those finals, then self-immolated in a blaze of unforced errors.
I think Lendl is getting inside his head, and he is finally close to fulfilling his potential.
Apparently no-one has ever lost 5 Slam finals before….desperately want him to win this one.
Come On Andy!

good positions??? he has only ever won one set in a final??
Andy Murray playing great, Djokovic also.. Still get the feeling that Djokovic will need to lose it, maybe Andy’s biggest opponent is in his head!
Come on Andy though!

Never, ever did know what to get someone for the ‘Secret Santa’ thing in work.
Well this year I hope I get one of the huns.
“Oh my, it feels like a book. I wonder what it could be, maybe the new Dan Brown, or that book on golfing anecdotes I’ve been talking about”.
“Downfall, what the …….”

All about opinions big man :)
To many unforced errors from Andy
What does Sevco represents is irrelevant. The SFA is Rangers. What we are about to witness is civil war between the SFA and the SPL. That Sevco is now ensconsced in division 3 it would be fair to assume that they as an administration are on Sevco side possibly not as a body if push comes to shove.
The determining factor will be how UEFA and the Government decide to solve this problem.
That pre agreed strategy will decide what will happen to Sevco and the bodies that presided over the fiasco in the first place. I expect this has already been decided and will be ushered in under the pretext of modernisation.
UEFA needs to deal with it quickly now due to precedents being set. They dont need to bother about trivial matters such as law but they will be demanding assurances because presently they cannot control their subordinate organisation.
It is going to be a fascinating couple of months.

Get in there Andy
