There are two ways you can announce a shirt sponsor deal, one like it’s “worth up to £10m over three years”, or one like “worth £10m over three years”. Some commercial deals in football are performance related. If you win the league, qualify for the Champions League group stages, or even Europa League group stages, the value of the deal increases due to the added exposure and brand-related coverage.
Celtic will get nothing for winning the league, because that factor is already built into expectations. They will, however, earn commercial bonuses for Champions League qualification.
Newco’s reported three year kit deal is the “worth up to” variety. Bonuses will be dependent on winning the league, qualifying for the Europa League and Champions League group stages. Who knows, Dave King might come across with the money needed to get there…………
Less than three hours to go!

Delaney’s , St Laurence’s was the Tracey’s original parish in Drumchapel . .
Its appropriate Mrs Tracey’s funeral will be there.
May her soul rest in peace.
Brian is some man.

Because they flitted to Blairdardie, Saint Benedicts and Saint Ninians Knightswood were Flo’s churches to worship. The family insisted their mum’s requiem mass should be in Saint Laurence. Flo was a 7 day a week mass and Holy Eucharist Catholic.
CRC
Thanks Marc. I can now maybe afford to have a gamble on your game again soon.

I would be nothing without my auld mam, she would kill me if she knew I called her that. She passed at 57 from the big C and only saw one of my 3 children born but I swear to you she sent the last one as punishment……the wee fella is an adorable rogue who would test the patience of all the saints. I would not change him for anyone but my god he is one of a kind. Mam raised us on her own from when I was 4 and I think it made us really strong as a family. We never had much but what we had was love, laughter, humility , respect and we knew right from wrong.
I would travel home every 3 weeks on my long weekends to see her in her final months she told me a couple of things that I will never forget.
1. We are here for a good time not a long time and there is no second chance or rehearsal.
2. Treat others as you would like to be treated yourself.
3. Cherish every moment you have with your children because you never know when you will see them again.
4. Never put off until tomorrow something you could have done today.
5. Never waste time on hate but spend all your days in love….
I think it’s the difference between us and them……..
Nas na Ri,
thanks , i had never heard that saying ;) She flies through the diapers thats for sure.
And thems lovely words about your mam. Sounds like a goodun indeed.
Hail Hail
Delaney’s, sorry I never replied, I fell aesleep.
When we moved to Knightswood in 1976, I did not see Brian again until 1982, when I started work in the same office he worked in. Plenty of smiles and laughter from mewhen I was in his company for the next 8 years until I left.
I hope things go well and Mrs Tracey will get the fitting farewell she deserves.
Good morning friends and a Big Happy Friday to you all.
Just 1 more sleep until our first chance to win the league for the 7th (SEVENTH) time in a row.
Then 9 more sleeps till Rangers* applaud us on to the park as Champions (or alternatively try to stop us becoming Champions!) .
23 more sleeps till we unfurl the flag against Aberdeen.
29 more sleeps till we try to complete the Double Treble.
Which is nice ;-)
Who would win a fight between we are ahead of the ole curve, and the ole gap is closing
The start of another glorious day up here in Forres and I had intended to spend more time up here until the old tempter that is CRC started putting temptations in my way like tickets for the POTY and a session tomorrow to watch the game, which I originally declined.
There’s not much that would drag me away from up here but the company of good Celtic men and women is one of them.
Hail! Hail! CRC
I’m very excited for this weekend – the weather is good down here, beer festival tonight (‘Mon the Hops!), and Celtic have their first shot at clinching the title.
Sadly I will be busy while the match is on – for my birthday my missus has booked me on to an artisan baking class tomorrow (10am – 3pm), so won’t catch any of it :(
But as long as the Bhoys do the job I’ll be happy.
When I see you Celtic I go out of my bread…

You’re definitely one of them Middle Class Celtic fans that gets pilloried on here from time to time for “gogin forward” wi’ stuff.
That said, I shouldn’t mock as I’ve never eaten a baked artisan before. Do you take it with quinoa ?
:-)))))
The ole ginger harridan
NatKnow
Baked artisan is typically served with cauliflower rice and washed down with probiotic water.
(Please read that sentence with an annoying upward inflection in the voice, thank you).
Is that your Artisan yir Bakin?
