Ronny Deila seems to be more upset at the poor performance yesterday than I was. My expectation on hearing the team matched what we saw. We have taken big steps to turn things around in recent weeks but, Ronny, this is your starting point, and it’s not as high as you might have thought.
Hopefully we’ll be back to something more recognisable as a full squad on Wedenesday, including Wakasooooooo.

While I do think Griffiths is a better player than Stokes (and I don’t really know why he gets a game, tbh), I presume Griffiths unprofessional behaviour is what is stopping his getting a game.
*fully concur here….I don’t think he was wanted originally at CP as a result of his lifestyle but Lenny fought for him…..his not being picked may NOT be down to Ronny either.
I heard from an impeccable source ,that nobody knew who the captain was yesterday ,until they were standing in the tunnel at 2.58………..

He’s considerably more handsome than Tony Mowbray, but his results are rather similar.
Much more of this pattern of results and he’s gonna need a bigger chin.

That’s funny because whoever was doing the teamsheets for Shortbread knew before them then. I got out my car at about 2.30pm knowing VVD was going to be captain, and I think the team was announced well before that.

Was thinking if I just kept posting it.
My Celtic supporting patience is being well and truly tested by our new management duo, too many baffling team decisions, tactical blunders and embarassing results. Not a good time then to be getting knockedout of the leage cup by Hearts at home on Wed night, if that comes to pass I’ll be giving up on our new management team, if it looks like a lame duck, quacks like a lame duck…..Yes even this early in the season, but you cant ignore the evidence.
Hopefully come Wed night my pessimistic mood will prove to be wide of the mark.
Got a text from a friend ( I know and not even a made up one) asking, given Indy result and theirs in particular,could Glasgow not set up a Vatican like state with border controls and payment for entrance and exit.

Rony needs time it is wrong to expect to see huge changes after just 3 months he is trying to change players mind sets and some will be happy to accept change others will fight it.I would have expected the team Rony picked to start on Saturday to beat Motherwell at Parkhead it wasnt Rony who did not perform it was the players.He needs to find out who he can trust on the park and stick with them the non tryers he needs to move on when the transfer window is open.H.H.
It looks that Leigh Griffiths may be going out on ‘emergency loan’ to Hibernian. Well, at least the MSM are reporting this.
By doing so, Deila is admitting that he is unable to handle “talented but problem children” like Leigh and Tony Watt. Bearing in mind that Anthony Stokes faces the possibility of a custodial sentence if found guilty at his trial in Dublin and that James Forrest has a court appearance coming up for exhibiting himself in a bar/nightclub, is losing Leigh and Tony such a good move?
I worried on Sunday about the continuing tinkering with the team and then the awful performance. I feel that there is continuing cause for concern and wish that steps would be taken to make it go away.

Can some people just look at the total no of competitive games Ronny has been in charge for, 13.
Does anyone think you can really judge a new manager after this amount of games? Also how long does it really take for players to adapt to a new footballing philosophy and then begin to implement it on the park?

Ah right, see where you’re coming from. I can quite easily see this happening, although it shouldn’t have. Brown is captain, Mulgrew is vice and I think Commons usually takes the armband after that.
With none of them playing it probably was pull a name out the hat time.
