I sincerley doubt it.
If O’Brien, or someone like him, were to take overall control of the club a la the Glazers at Man Utd would things change then?

People like O’Brien, and DD, don’t become billionaires by making ’emotional investments’ in fitba clubs.
However, DD and his two pals, JP McManus and John Magnier made a very tidy profit when they sold their shares in Man Utd to the Glazers.

Here is another true story I know a person who had a couple
of seats in what’s is known as Club Celtic nowadays & he now
refuses to renew his seats due to present set up in other words
the Board & the direction they are taking the Club sad but true
He is also a friend of a person by the name of Mr T who is the
second biggest share holder @ our Club he even informed me
that DD tried to fish his shares from Mr T but Mr T informed
DD to go & sling his hook because the Club are stuck in that
talking heads tune entitled were on the road to nowhere
If my view is in the minority as you seem to think, then bring it on.

Good afternoon celtic, I’ve been lurking for sometime reading the posts rather than the posters name, imo if the team had the same fight and passion as you guys then we would all be happy, I’ve never seen a celtic side that looks as if they had only met for a kick in the park, drove me nuts when LG was left standing surrounded by opposition and not 1 team mate?? Came to help, it wouldnt have happened with Neil John Chris, I feel this team has lost its heart and breaking many with it hail hail

We are told that Ciftci was our top target.
They give us billboards rather than a decent manager and team.
Now….what does it take to get change at Celtic Park?

We have lost one game and the panic merchants are on sack the board sack Ronny where is the Faithful through and through ? If they put as much effort in supporting the manager and supporting the team as they do criticising them we would be in a better place. I suppose once you have decided you want someones head you are unlikely to accept counter points of view but for me Ronny is the manager and he will get my undivided support some of the prima donnas who play for Celtic need awake up call. You can go from hero to zero very quickly on here. Not long ago Ronny was the darling of CQN now there is hardly anybody willing to say a good word about him. Yesterday there were one or two calling Gordon a sh^te keeper and calling for him to be dropped, FFS.
I’m gutted at the moment really really pissed off. Could hardly say two words to the wife since the bloody game. I am annoyed with Ronny and yes Gordon should have come off his line and claimed that ball.
Blackett was a huge disappointment for me looked like he came on the field and just thought FFS what the hell am I doing up here. He just didn’t seem to want to be on the pitch.
However I will not write him off for one poor game nor will I write off Gordon coz he stays on his line too much. Neither will I call for Ronny’s head but that is not to say I’m not worried because I bloody am worried big time.
I think Ronny and the teams season is now hinging on the shoulders of a 21 yr old Croatian. This guy needs to be the real deal, please God he is, I hate feeling like this.
Matt McGlone doesn’t need to rely on any insider gossip and neither does the average fan. It’s glaringly obvious just looking at the performances that we are not in a happy place at the moment.
It’s not just new players bedding in either. Something needs sorted.

I thought that a draw would be the most likely result as the game progressed and but for a goal line clearance in last minute it would have been.
I’m going to have a wee go at Griffiths here although I like the effort and goals he brings.
Had he had the confidence that hitting that shot harder rather than put emphasis on angle it’s 2 -2. I’m being harsh but real quality scores there.
He also played a part in Aberdeen ‘s winner as did whoever gave him the pass. He lost the ball with his back to goal with 3 defenders on him. (Is that why RD wanted Citci)That left a space for a pass to McGinn who skinned Effe but was fouled.
After that it is poor defending but the way we gave away the initiative is a feature of our play.
Ten mins in Aberdeen could not get the ball but Boyata gave it away needlessly and that is when Aberdeen got a foothold. Teams watch out for opportunities to catch us on the break and that opportunity comes from the way we play. Some rethinking needed there.
On fearing Sevco I watched Hearts v ICT and whilst Hearts did what Sevco are doing now to win that division, ICT got their measure over the game so I’d not be fearing Sevco anymore than I would Aberdeen over the distance.
Good teams need a spine physically and mentally. We lost ours defensively since last season and our performances and results will depend on how quickly we develop another one.
I don’t like 4/2/3/1- seems really negative where the players have to make up serious yardage to attack.

In fairness Joe, the storm has been building for quite a wee while.
The levels of vitriol aimed at Deila and Lawwell at Murrayfield havent been reached. A lot of that was knee jerk stuff.
But, the way we are playing has been a source of discomfort for many Celtic supporters, even during last season’s triumphs. I’m largely referring to the one striker issue here.
The rumours of personnel problems, again, just stinks of bad management, weak even.
Just read an article VVD was on £9k a week at CFC. Now £45k a week a Southampton. You can see why he wanted to move; another £5000+ per day at southampton.
Can we cut some of the new players some slack ? Blackett has played one game for Celtic, the condemnation is neither welcome or deserved.

I see that failure of initiative too, it’s irritating. The way I see the game each attack should result in clean and definitive ending either making a shot or winning territory. I understand that maintaining control of the ball is very important but while transitioning into the last third I like to see those rules apply.
