CELTIC boss Brendan Rodgers reckons the pressure is piling on Sevco Rangers ahead of Sunday’s High Noon showdown at Ibrox.
The champions have the opportunity of moving nine points clear – with a game in hand – if they overcome Graeme Murty’s men.
Rodgers said: “They’ve got a bit more spirit from what I see and they’ve probably found a consistency.
“But they’ve played without pressure during most of my time up here, so they’ll feel that little bit of pressure because it is a game they have to win.
“We want to win it, of course, the same as every game we play, and especially against our rivals.”
The Hoops gaffer added: “We’ve got a lot of work to do and we’ll need to perform better and more consistently.
“However, we have gone there three times in the last two seasons and performed very well.
“Having a full week’s preparation will make a massive difference.
“It will be a tough game for us, but we will get ready.
“We’ll work on some elements of where we can hurt them, prepare really well and go there with confidence.”
