Booking £20m from TV rights in China over 10 years is a remarkable deal for the SPFL, it shows a lot of faith from broadcaster, PPLive, who have the responsibility to foster the league in the world’s most populous country. The cash will be beer money to Celtic but represents a substantial income for most of the Premiership.
The deal opens the door for Celtic to follow-through, the only club with the wherewithal to exploit the merchandising, scouting and recruitment opportunities there. We’ve seen strategies developed in Mexico, India and now China, while the European football-tourist market is also now being targeted through online partners.
None of this will put the ball in the Ajax net tomorrow night but it is important nonetheless.

Now you mention it, I haven’t watched a German team this CL season. I enjoyed watching B Dortmund & B Munich last year.
Kikinthenakas, watch one of Dortmunds games, and yes that was the best, out with our own.
Not seen Bayern or Schalke yet.
CRC, that is something I am remiss on, never have done.
Work for me is never static, never know where I am going to be, a bad excuse though, I should remedy that, I don’t even know if I have a rare blood group, it might be important to someone.

Bang on. That was the programme. I just hated the way they came over and why they broadcast it on BBC Scotland. Just MO you understand. Not that I dislike the English,, my late father was a very proud englishman and devout Catholic. Make of that what you will. :))

Since I was diagnosed with HBP I have not been allowed to give blood. I am AB Negative, supposedly a very rare type. I have given 14 pints in the last 10 years and have a bronze medal to prove it. Why the heck am I stopped because of this condition? Peees me off. :(
