There was never any doubt that Honest Dave King would be ordered to make an £11m offer to minority shareholders in Newco Rangers after an enforcement today by the Takeover Appeals Board.
King’s counsel claimed he was “penniless” and unable to make good on the offer, which is a legal requirement on any individual or individuals acting in concert, acquire 30% of a company. I initially considered it was unlikely that many shareholders would accept the 20p price, but the Sinking Ship Scenario is in play. This may be shareholders last chance to recover any investment in Rangers Mark II.
Of course, none of this would have happened if they stuck with the Easdales and Mike Ashley, or Charles Green and Mike Ashley, of anyone else who was able to employ a Nomad or attract tens of millions of pounds investment. But glib and shameless Geppetto wanted control and he pulled all the right strings.
Have a great weekend and enjoy the game tomorrow.

Good Morning All.
Thanks to a marvellous donation by Hebcelt my Mary’s Meal Appeal has now crossed the £3,500 mark and is only around £400 short of £4k.
Last year some us sponsored a wee school in Liberia and raised enough money to feed 265 kids for the year.
Today, as a result of each child receiving a meal, there are 805 kids coming to the school and so I am again raising money to feed them for a year.
To feed a child for a year costs just £13.90 and to feed 805 takes just over £11k so we are about a third of the way there.
Thanks to an initiative from Mary’s Meals donations made to the charity before 31st December will count double in value.
So, who will pledge £3/goal scored at the game today – either by Celtic or by both sides if you prefer?
I know funds are tight at this time of year but these kids have nothing other than the chance of one square meal a day which literally saves their life.
The donations page can be found here:
https://www.marysmeals.org.uk/fundraising/project/jim-mcginley/st-anthonys-balfron-appeal-for-a-meal-1
On a separate note, if you are walking to the game today and come across a homeless person can you take 30 seconds to say hello (that in itself will make a huge difference to them) and just let them know that on Christmas Day there will be a small snack van situated at the Bottom of Sauchiehall Street at Charing Cross outside the Driftwood Bar between 6pm and 10pm which will provide hot tea/coffee, soup, snadwiches, hot rolls, biscuits and snacks to the homeless for free.
Thanks Very Much.
Have a great Christmas and Come on the Hoops.
Hail Hail.

Every year our partnership parish (one priest 4 churches – 400 parisioners) donates all crib donations to Mary’s Meals where we sponsor a school – last year an incredible £6,000 was raised. If we can match it this year it will be doubled up.
Good luck with your ongoing appeal.
Hoopy birthday and best wishes to the top bhoy Jay – 3 points today will be the ideal present

crap mate.all mentioned in your post may well be in the kack together, and may well have nodded, winked and shook knuckles on it. BUT not for one second was our club involved in any hun inspired multi layered, gokky in the extreme, twisted masonic shoite,
Beauty is strange but in the case of the 2 clubs from ibrokes every single action/event/occurrence/drama and of course error that has befell them is solely down to their own doing.
They originated, conceived and rolled it out as policy.a suicide note. They own their own death we had nowt to do with it(in a comp policy sense),but tis easy to nip at our club, lazy i say,
anyways hope your good and do get to the ball, like the moniker :-) have a good christmas

Aberdeen are confident and are coming to Glasgow with Belief. Celtic are no longer Invincible and Hearts have shown them the way.
We will need to set about the task with vigour and Hard Work. Our players will need to win their battle against their opposite numbers and take on the hard work.
We will need to perform better than we have since the International break, in order to win the game.
No passengers.
Get it right Brendan

in 2 hours’ time it’s…….. https://youtu.be/NRtGOqQn-00
At this time of year, those less fortunate than ourselves should be foremost in our thoughts. This sentiment should even apply to other football clubs. So let’s bury the hatchet, put previous friction to one side, and wish our near neighbours the best of luck.
C’mon Kilmarnock

“Kris Boyd will be disappointed he didn’t hit the target there”.
Will he, aye?

Blatant cheating from Collum.
Getting some teams news through, Ntcham, Ajer and Dembele in. Boyata, McGregor and Edouard out.
Gordon
Lustig Jozo Ajer KT
Broonie Ntcham Armstrong
Forrest Moussa Sinclair
That’s team I’ve been given.
More cheating by ref..no card for jumping unto crowd
No yellow card for the goal scorer jumping into the crowd, surprise surprise.
Hope you are right TTR, I like the sound of that team.
Half Time in the Plastic Dome, The Govan Huns lead one nil.
Standard of Football, did I say Football, atrocious.
It’s so bad there is a weird compulsion to stay watching it.
On iron horse heading to Paradise.

God bless yer wee mammy, that was my Irish granny’s name and my mother-in-laws. Lots of O’Malleys and Maleys in Dumbarton.
Willie “Fifth” Collum obviosly got the Huns must win memo.
Shocking first half performance from him.
Two poor teams, controlled by a poor referee, playing on a poor surface…
…. yup, poor game.
would like to see MJ get a run out today
Doors to manual….
So the best young manager in the country is losing tae a development coach, Stevie Clarke has never been a good manager, assistant aye but no the top job.

Saw your post about the pet shop.
It was definitely a case of “how much is that doggy in the window”.
A load of wee pups jumpin’ up and down in the window, ecxept for one.
A wee bitch cowering in the corner, so picked her.
She grew into a beautiful dog even though she was , allegedly, the runt of the litter.
Happy days!
