The euphoria of moving a further three points ahead on Wednesday night now gives way to the serious business of facing Aberdeen at what is expected to be high winds on Sunday. Celtic always do well at Pittodrie, but you should question your victories as much as your defeats.
Celtic have won seven consecutive games at Pittodrie since back-to-back defeats there in season 2016-16, scoring 20 and conceding four in the process. It has become a regular party away trip. This will boost the players’ confidence and should worry Aberdeen, but every game is different. Aberdeen are third in the table; this is one of our most difficult games left in the league campaign.
Derek McInnes is under pressure for the first time as Aberdeen manager. The 0-0 he got at Ibrox this month surprised his own fans as much as anyone. That game was a liberating opportunity for Aberdeen, free of expectations for 90 minutes, they found common purpose. We will need to work for any points we take back down the road on Sunday.

Spot on Paul, of the many ‘most importants’ of this season Sunday is right up there, not least because it would be a psychological kick in the proverbial haw maws to our nearest rivals.
The bhoys have been excellently focused game by game, with only the first half at Hamilton deviating. A repeat of our good work should see us through – should be treated as a Cup Final – the dandies will certainly do so.

There are probably racists, homophobes sexists and bigots at every football match across the country. As well as in every office, every factory, every pub and club in every town and city. I have no doubt Morelos gets abuse. But so does every other player (Fenian B’stards included). At every game, certain players will be subject to verbal abuse for their colour, their nationality, their religion, their sexuality, their mental health – in fact anything that some idiots can put a label on.
It is really disturbing that rangers, the one team in the UK that absolutely does not have the right to take the morale high ground in racist matters, is determined to put the spotlight on Morelos while ignoring everything that comes spewing out of the mouths of their own supporters.
A 12-year-old is all over the national news for purportedly saying something racist, yet 50,000 singing the famine song and the billy boys falls on deaf ears.
I would hazard a guess that 99% of the abuse aimed at Morelos has nothing to do with his colour and all to do with the fact he is a despicable cheat constantly trying to con the refs. He is dirty, but in a sleekit rather than hard manner and his face is stuck in a constant scowl. He brings the spotlight upon himself through his actions, not because he is black.

Wednesday night was a fantastic display of football.
Although football is ultimately about results, entertainment puts a smile on our faces. We are currently doing both and what a joyous atmosphere it was on a cold winter’s night.
Really looking forward to Sunday’s game, but what will also be interesting is the team we put out.
I would gladly have got shot of Olivier Ntcham, however what a transformation. How can we not play him.

Euphoria, indeed Celtic fans treated simaltaneously to thrashing insidious Hertz whilst Killie did the Pies, got a rare old treat. Since losing to Livingston on the in October, Celtic have won 51 out of 54 points and averaged three league goals a game, but the only thing won, is the only thing that could be won before Christmas.
Aberdeen were labelled a disgrace when we thrashed them early in the season, lets hope Celtic’s present form gets us any win, where we also have son of Dallas who’ll be determined to chip in, for one last push from Poundland.
Simunovic, Jullien, and Ajer will feature in what could be the identical line up, for the first time this season in consecutive games?

For the record, I have been antipathetic towards 3-5-2 and anxious when it’s used against capable teams since McLeish showed Mourinho how to rumble MON’s team.

I don’t know, generally lets say they get in behind RB, the nearest CB moves across with urgency, two remaining CB’s can form a standard two then as per – you just need the left wing back to be alert and it should not be a huge concern.
You also have Brown and Ntcham tracking back in the centre, leaving the outermost CB to cover the left back slot if Taylor is caught up the field or suchlike.
I like it for the number of bodies it gives us in the centre, where most goals are scored ultimately. An extra insurance policy if someone is caught out of position or a piece of skill takes someone out the game.

All well and good when the game is played by rote, but it’s apt to fall down when it becomes dynamic, and at best leaves you 1v1 in that area of the pitch if the wing back is ‘alert’. Even Agathe’s speed wasn’t enough to recover the position in some major matches.
I’d be squeaking in the bum department if we used it in Europe or against Sevco’s 4-3-2-1.

Regardless of what happens at Ayebrokes on Saturday we need to go to Aberdeen and play as we have been playing since the turn of the year. Keep on turning the screw. If we keep on winning the league will be down to us and nobody else. Target – get three points then move onto the next game. Maximum points before going to the Bigot dome, 2 away games and 2 home games, would be a massive step towards retaining the league.

I get uneasy with this Brophy Trophy nonsense, we didn’t lose the League when they beat us at Celtic Park & didn’t win it last Wednesday.
It’s not being a fearty we have seen it a few times this year alone where the team looked to be in top mode, only for them to unexpectedly under perform in next game.
We have 4 tricky away games before the split, Aberdeen, Livingston, Huns & Hibs.
We have the capability of winning all 4 but each will present a major challenge.
For the moment we should be forgetting about the Title & whether or not the Huns might drop points to Livi.
WE have a big game Sunday, win that & I’ll breathe a bit easier.

Aberdeen will not go man for man this time. I expect them to have two deep lines of defence with Cosgrove as their out ball.
Expecting a long afternoon, first goal if it comes, will be vital for us. Every game is important but you get the feeling if we go to Pittodrie and get the points then Sevco’s hope will quickly start to drain away.
For the first time in a very long time, I’m not going to bother keeping track of the Sevco score. We don’t need to anymore.
CORKCELT – spot on. Those 4 away fixtures, on paper at least, are as tough as they come. Aberdeen are always capable of giving us a real hard game and Hibs and Livingston are playing with confidence. Livi, in particular, will fancy their chances having already given us a bloody nose.
Ibrox will be a lottery. Regardless of what happens between now and then, it will be like a European final for them.
Nothing can be taken for granted. Not one single point.
The weather forecast particularly the wind from the South West at between 60 and 65mph might put this game in doubt on Sunday, I would prefer that it is called off if that is the conditions, Im confident we can beat Aberdeen, the wind at that force makes it a farce.
Any concerns about Sunday should be lessened with the knowledge the sheep have a bigger game next Wednesday down at kilmasonic.

True, but away to Aberdeen I think the wing backs starting position will be such that they are a left back with licence to get forward when the time is right.
Of course, they can’t be looking to the manager to confirm its ok to go forward at any given stage so you need intelligent players there taking calculated risks.
I think you’re worrying too much. Most goals are scored from the centre and it gives us more presence in that area of the pitch, whether to block shots, win headers or react to ricohets etc.
