Have only a vague interest in the midweek game.

Brendan is only finding his feet.

    Inverness next week.?

11 men behind the ball so the front three should be Griffiths,Dembele and Sinclair.

Formations meaning nothing so it’s an all out assault on them.

    5-0 Celtic..

  3. NATKNOW, BEATBHOY,

    Thanks for those kind words.

John passed away several years ago and I thought some of the buoys would have remembered him as their P E teacher.

I have stated that success for Celtic was reaching the groups stages and anything else was a bonus. I stand by that. In my mind we have exceeded my expectations by picking up a point in a very difficult group. Like everyone else I want us to win but realistically the odds are against us.

    Yes indeed.

It would be good to contact Sydney CSC , for one , about your blog.

    You probably have .

    :-)

  5. Great news about the hotel!

By the time you’ve had your full Scottish breakfast, the traffic should have started to clear on London Road after a CL match.

  6. Thanks Macjay. Good point. I will contact. I have never watched a game at Cheers in my time here.

  7. I see I missed the TV cowboy show nostalgia hour.

Did anyone mention Chuck Connors in “The Rifleman” and “Branded”?

The most expensive boyhood Christmas present I ever got was a self-assembly US Cavalry Fort with around 6 plastic soldiers but only two plastic “Red Indian” (sic) figures.

6 guys with guns in a tall stockade against two guys armed respectively with a bow & tomahawk. The outcome was always the same.

The “president ” or heid bummer is a good guy.

I met him at the funeral of Kevin Gaffney , who along with myself , was a founder member.

Taurangabhoy is the go-to guy for N.Z.

In addition to being an actor, Chuck Connors was quite the athlete. He played Major League Baseball, as well as professional basketball for the Boston Celtics. He was also drafted for a professional (American) football team.

That’s the first time i’ve perused your blog, very easy reading style, enjoyed it.

Like your fellow tim in upside down land,MACJAY,I agree with you on our CL ambitions this season:getting there, and the experience and income it provides is success this year.Especially so soon into a new manager’s tenure.

It’s a well known fact that there’s tims in almost every corner (corners on a sphere?) of the globe but it’s still great to see living proof of it,your input through your blog does that.

Keep up the writing and i’ll keep up the reading of.It’s appreciated back here, home as you called it.

Appreciate your efforts, hail hail and best of luck mo chara.
