Quite right, it was a yellow card not red.
Can we appeal Considine’s non red card?
Is there any recourse for a referee making several key, potentially match changing errors?

We lost yesterday because of 1 cheating bassa with a whistle. Nowhere else in world football would 1 team be hounded by officials like we are. Waited all day to calm down before posting, still raging at CT, Celtic should highlight this publicly this week and no later or the games a bogey for me
*absolutely, naebody’s denying we didnae play well but that performance yesterday, if it had occurred down south, would have seen the ref demoted.

The simple truth of our situation right now:
Strachan’s team was weaker than O’Neil’s
Lennon’s was weaker than Strachan’s
Deila’s is weaker than Lennon’s.
Truth is we have some very poor players and at some point the downgrade in talent just gets too tough to compensate for. VVD and Denayer were our two best players last season. Both gone and replaced by whom?
The signings/loans have been poor and getting worse.
Boyata, Blackett, Ciftci , Ambrose, are just not up to the standard. I don’t think any of them would get into the Aberdeen or Hearts team right now. And so many of the signings in the past two years have been so obviously bad its hard to get your head around. Any club that could ever sign a player like Amido Balde has some real problems.
We may well still win the league but I really doubt I will ever see the club in the CL again.

Aff topic a bit but found this yesterday while reading about the Firhill Flyer:
“Scotland went to Switzerland with no manager and only 13 players when they were allowed 22. There were no Rangers players in the squad because the Ibrox side had arranged a tour in America and refused to release their players. Celtic were also on tour but they agreed to let Neil Mochan and Willie Fernie play for the national side. “

Aye ok then…. Gary Mackay-Steven could be fabulous, that bhoy has more natural talent than your Tavenner, Waghornio or even Wallaceinio
I read a post on here regarding referees, that alluded to the fact that it takes a wise man to act the fool, in essence ‘do they make it look like incompetence?’
One thing I will say though if you get the chance watch the way he points to the spot for a Celtic penalty, and in the same game, watch the way he points to the spot for the Aberdeen spot kick.

Explain what is mental about popsing a reasonable question.
The only remotely mental part would be if I expected a straight answer. which I don’t.
AS you can imagine today …..what with yesterday’s debacle and today’s apocalyptic foreboding…….my mind was even less on the turgid enema that goes by the name of EPL than normal, but every now and again as I stretched my neck and shoulders to see what was happening (thus being cleverly surreptitious in emitting the overpowering flatulence of Guinness’s contribution to global warming), I noticed that the groundsman must been very bored…………
He had patterned the grass like a green kilt which stirred youthful memories of Pan’s People gyrating to the Bay City Rollers.
Maybe if the Celtic Groundsman gets overcome similarly with ennui, the tv viewers could be treated to his thoughtful horticultural embroidery…..
Perhaps….. GIRUY……or FTSFA…….or a big pitch length impression of Angelina Jolie in a Celtic top.

Re the tackle by Hayes. He led with his left foot. but his right foot caught Michael on the knee. He may have been sent off for that. Who knows with our refs. We need to get ourselves sorted on and off the pitch
The players and coaches have to improve in getting their jobs done better and those in.the boardroom have done well in keeping us solvent but can improve also. Match officials require loads of improvement also.

By mid October last year we were 6 points off 1st place with only a single game in hand.
