Armageddon-SPL strong at the bottom

Dundee are nine points adrift at the bottom of the SPL but made a good fist of it against Celtic last night, after a rocky start.  They held their own for a good 30 minutes either side of the interval.  They are clearly the worst team in the league but they are a pretty decent worst team.  Armageddon-SPL is strong at the bottom end.

You and I know the Celtic support, as a group and to any statistically significant level, are vastly better behaved than any supporters of any other large football club.  This is a source of enormous pride but comes at a cost.  Over 20 years later you will still hear about fruit thrown by one idiot, I do.  This is a good thing.  It means that there has been little to talk about these past 20 years.

When you benefit from the greatest reputation in football you are held to the highest standards.  No one will blame Chelsea fans when we drop the ball.  I’ve heard no reports of damage or injury at Dens last night, but 20 years from now someone will tell you what was said by a representative of Dundee today.  This will be a good thing.

    C’mon! You seem so definite with regards what you heard? So spill the beans. We are all big enough and honest enough to admit we are wrong and apologise if you can or are willing to point us to what you view as factual evidence of sectarianism. To be honest, I did not hear anything as I tend to concentrate on the ame when watching the Bhoys. Only thing I cold hear was racism being directed to one of our players and a few political songs I’d rather were not sung by those attending Celtic games. Tat said I do not deny them their right to sing them either as it is only my choice not to sing them at Celtic games.

     

     

    So please. Once and for all. Enlighten us?

    However, and I do appreciate that you are not privy to the inner working of the club, can you explain that the alleged racist abuse was not alluded to in earlier statements made by the club and it took nearly twenty four hours to surface on a blog

    By conveniently not mentioning or being totally oblivious to the fact and I repeat fact that Celtic supporters last night engaged in theft, vandalism, abuse of illegal substances and verbally abusing anyone having the temerity to challenge their actions I assume you are condoning same

    The weight I give to reports from people who were there is just the same as is generally given to eye witnesses.

     

     

    I’ve just looked in but would like to hear your views at some point on Mikael Lustig, to whom I’m warming. TV doesn’t tell you what a player is contributing off the ball.
