Armstrong, Foundation in Malawi

606

It’s a lot easier to improve a bad team than a treble winning team, but Brendan Rodgers has the latter challenge ahead this summer. One of his principle objectives will be to retain Stuart Armstrong on a new deal. As CQN reported this morning, good progress has been made on that front.

Loving the updates from the Celtic FC Foundation delegation, currently in Malawi with Mary’s Meals. You can follow the remarkable updates from LeftyBhoy here.

This work is being done in your name, with funds you helped raise. Keep an eye on what is being achieved.

Just landed for two days R&R in Belfast. Not been since the mid-90s……….. Off to find a pub and some rich culture…… Recommendations welcome but no messing!!!

  3. Celtic have completely updated their list & pics of first team squad on Official site..

Updated squad does not include Kris (no surprise) but Kolo & Bailly are also removed.

  4. Welcome to Celtic Jonny, your dream has come to fruition.

It’s obvious may don’t have a scooby about how the game is played, players fit into a team like a piece fits into a jigsaw puzzle, Jonny will fit into our team like a glove.

He has a bigger work ethic than Paddy and James combined.

He will make so many eat their words.

    Hi folks

As mentioned on CQN, a few of us are out for a beer(s) on Saturday

For those that can, you are certainly welcome to join us.

St Stivs might even be out and have CQN badges on him for those that buy and collect them.

Watched I Daniel Blake on Monday night. Was ready to Yosser Hughes the telly.

Sneakier this time around than in the 80s. More sleekit. (At least) Thatcher was clear in her boast that there was no such thing as society.

The Hayes signing indicates to me that we have given up on capturing Roberts on a permanent deal.

Brendan is ensuring we have someone capable for the CL qualifiers.

I for one are happy to see Jony Hayes is likely to be a Celtic player by the end of the week. He is fast he is strong he has an eye for goal and he also creates goals whats not to like ? Another class player in our squad well done Brendan. H.H.

You might be interested to note that, today, the Michigan health official was charged with involuntary manslaughter arising from the 2014 drinking water scandal in flint, michigan. It is alleged that he knew about the problem but was too slow in taking any action, which delay resulted in several deaths. If convicted, he could get 15 years in jail.

I should point out that he is one of four, I believe, to have been charged with involuntary manslaughter, and one of a dozen or so who have been charged with various other offences relating to the failure to deal with the polluted water.
