I will say that AZ are gonnae get to the semi finals at least of the Conference Euro League.
MOTM – Adam Montgomery considering all the factors – he will be our established left back within this year.
Midfield was poor but the Joe Hart blunder was monumental – Thankfully he went on to make a few excellent and crucial saves.

Phew. Fantastic result. Maybe controversial to say, but I think AZ are a better team. But who cares, job done and the aggregate result is all that matters. Where we go from here with that defence is anyone’s guess. It’s a discussion for another day.

Eduardo changed the game. Angle will have to look at making changes sooner. Turnbull should have been pulled after 60 minutes. That said to go through against the top third club in Holland is brilliant.
Well done, Celtic. We now need a dominating centre half. Its a while since we were hammered and still won. Mistakes need to be rectified quickly.

AFAS was their star man….covered every blade of grass…was everywhere…. it seemed
AZ were by far the most difficult opponents we could have faced at this stage. It’s a great credit to Ange and the players that we have reached the Europa League group stages. I can’t wait to see how this team develops. Not sure my ticker can take it though.:)
Premier sports hun wants eddy sold. Keep eddy let him get his dream move at the end of the season , straight into the Champions league next year £30 million ! Pays for itself.

The Celtic Board need to bring in at least 3 quality players, IMO.
For all their pressure and goal chances both goals were gifted to them.
Rode our luck at times, especially sticking with playing from the back to a team with a high press, my blood pressure is slowly getting back to normal.
Second half the defense were as good as they were bad in the first half.

A really tough shift tonight as I expected as not only are AZ a talented team, but they are also a strong physical outfit. Ive ALREADY forgiven Joe Hart and Carl Starfelt for those two 1st half errors, and Big Joe made a couple of excellent saves.
I hope young Gregg Taylor is okay for our next game, as well as any other celtic players who may have taken knocks.
Tony Ralston had a fine game DESPITE being up against AZ’s best player IMHO.

Whew, thar was tough.

If we hadn’gifted them two goals they never would have pressured us to that extant.
Hart played well after the howler.
Welsh was the right man for their high ball. Ralston was excellent, he was left exposed by midfielders not helping him. Turnbull faded as did Mcgregor.
Abada showed that he needs experience, no harm there, he will come good.
Eddie did well.
Anyway, we are through against a very good side.

Well I really didn’t see us hanging on at half time. Them tiring, Eddie coming on and the defence steadying themselves seen the game out. They should have squared the tie on 78 mins but sometimes you need that luck.
Delighted to be through, we’ve knocked out a very good side. We need to strengthen. Two goalkeepers and two left back in our bench tonight shows we need to strengthen.
We’ve gained an extra 4 million tonight, let’s go out and spend it.
