CELTIC’S Scottish Cup fourth round encounter with Buckie Thistle will be televised live next month.

The intriguing tie between the holders and the non-league opponents is scheduled for a 4pm kick-off at Parkhead on Sunday January 21 and will be shown on the Viaplay satellite channel.

The Hoops will pick up where they left off last season when they overcame Highland opposition in Inverness Caley Thistle to claim the silverware and seal a world record eighth domestic treble.

HI HO SILVER LINING…Kyogo Furuhashi celebrates Celtic’s Scottish Cup Final triumph at Hampden.

It was Ange Postecoglou’s last hurrah as the club’s manager before his move to Spurs and he saw the team win 3-1 with goals from Kyogo Furuhashi, Liel Abada and Filipe Jota at the national stadium on June 3.

Celtic’s game is one of four selected for live screening with the action getting underway on Friday, January 19 when Clyde host Aberdeen at New Douglas Park. That match will be shown on BBC Scotland.

The Spartans and Hearts meet on the Saturday at 12.05pm and that, too, will be covered by the Beeb. Dumbarton’s home confrontation against Ibrox opposition will be live on Viaplay at 5.30pm later that day.

The curtain will come down on the live coverage at Parkhead on the Sunday.
